#1966 of 5850 RX 350 with NAV from Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA
Jan 31, 2009 (12:53 am)
My friend and I got an Internet quote from one of the Internet Sales staff at Longo Lexus in El Monte, CA. I emailed a request for the quote but had to call to get an options list and OTD number from the guy. It wasn't as good of a deal as the one in Ontario, but the interior color for the car at Longo was more to my friend's liking.
She bought a silver 2009 RX 350 with liquid graphite 18" 7 spoke wheels, heated seats and rain sensing wipers, NAV, Premium Package (no Plus), tow prep package, cargo mat and wheel locks. MSRP is $44,026 = $37700 + $5501 options + $825 destination (+TTL).
We took the car for an OTD price of $37,800 (TTL included). I'm fairly certain that we could have gotten it for $37,500 but my friend sort of jumped the gun and asked for a silly discount from the quote instead of a meaningful one. She's extremely happy with the car, and that's what matters most to me.
The Longo dealership is excellent, and I'm happy to deal with them. My salesman was a little odd. He would leave for quite a long time and we'd often be standing or sitting for a long time wondering where he was. He would also walk about 40 feet in front of us when he was leading us places around the dealership. I thought it was kind of strange, and I sort of got the feeling like maybe he hated us (me?).
The finance guy was also pretty odd in that he was chewing gum... and I don't mean that he had gum in his mouth. I mean, it was full, open-mouth juiciness. It was a visual and auditory experience the likes of a Disney theme ride into someone's mouth, and I was a little fearful that we were going to get some splash affect if we were around the guy too long.
Despite this stuff, I'm happy with the experience and I'd go back to Longo to buy another Lexus if the opportunity presents itself.

Len Stoler in Owings Mills will give the full 5,000 off invoice. A nav model will be about $36,300. They have a big selection of colors etc. About 35 cars on their lot. You might be able to get another two hundred or so off .

#1970 of 5850 Pebble Beach 09 MD
Jan 31, 2009 (10:24 pm)
Took home a Truffle Pebble Beach for $37850 OTD today. We were choosing between a Smoky Granite NAV and the Pebble Beach and the price difference wasn't much so we opted for it.

Hi Bug0y, does your car include Nav? I bought almost the same car today (Truffle Pebble Beach + Nav) but price was $37500 + TTL.

yep, all pebble beach have NAV as far as I know. Looked at paperwork again this morning, we ran away with it for $36500 + TTL = $37854.50 OTD. They'll talk right now, lots of inventory left they have to unload + low demand.
#1973 of 5850 Price paid in Atlanta for Rx350 with FWD and Navigation
Feb 01, 2009 (6:11 am)
I bought a new 2009 RX350 with FWD and Navigation on 1/31/09. MSRP is $44841. I paid $35341 before dealer fees, Tax and title. I have very good experience with this dealer in Atlanta. Strightforward dealing in the e-mail and over phone. If anyone is interested I can send the dealer's name and sales person's name.

Darcars Silver Spring Lexus, tell them the lowest offer you got from VA dealers is $37900 OTD (if you're satisfied with how much we paid). If I were you I'd try lower than that and see if they'll go even lower. Finance through Pentagon Federal Credit Union, 3.99% right now online rate. Good Luck!
