Am I reading this right but $2500 Dealer cash may not be combined with 0.9% APR - 2.9 % APR and vehicle must be financed through the manufacturer's captive finance company. Does that mean they cant combine with financing?

Replying to: edleevm (Dec 05, 2008 1:45 pm) After talking to the sales rep., I was under the impression that you can combine the rebate with financing. I am planning on getting the financing and I believe the sales rep. knew of my intentions. I'm not sure if he is saying it to just get us in the door, but we will find out soon enough as I will be making the purchase tomorrow. I'm sure if he isn't going to allow it, other dealers may be open to it.

Can someone please give me info re: the 2500 rebate. (Is this recent?) Is this off of the invoice price? Will the 0.9 / 1.9 / 2.9 % financing still apply ?? Will the close certificate also apply? What other "extras" should I try to negotiate? ( cargo mats, floor mats, loaner car for life, "X" number of oil changes, etc.) I think I have a pretty good offer from the dealer, but I just want to get the best deal. Any and all help is appreciated -- Thank you !!! |
