Did you buy it? I'm not happy with the price I was quoted at the dealership and walked. What happened to the $8000 or even $10,000 discounts that people are getting on their ES and RX? I only got a measly $3000 off. I'll buy a different car for just that! I like Lexus, but if I have to pay $5000-8000 more than other people for the same car that's left over from previous sales, I'll buy some other brand that I also like.
Can't imagine I would pay $33k for a 2010 when 2013 is not that much more. Even if I work for Lexus, and want to pay more for a Lexus, I still wouldn't pay that much.

Picked up our 2013 ES 350 with Ultra Luxury Pkg. Paid sticker. Went to two other dealers in the area (Metro NY) they were all charging the same thing. The only difference was trade-in value for our old car. Frankly, we were happy with the price. I think it will be hard to get a discount this soon after the car was released.

You paid $36,900 for a 2012 Starfire Pearl E350 w/Nav, include tint, pinstripe and delivered to Houston. Was it from Sewell? Couldn't get the same deal in Houston. Would you share your salesman name? Thanks.

Hi, I am about to close on a deal similar to this.
Did the 36900 include destination/ processing? Surely wasn't the OTD price, or was it?

Went shopping for a 2012 ES , but left with a 2013. Despite a respectable (but hardly noteworthy) discount on the leftover ($3500), I decided on the redesigned model. I paid the $44k sticker but negotiated away the LOJACK dealer add-on. I figured the $3500 discount on the year old 2012 was negligible when you consider the fact that just driving off the dealer lot has the same depreciation impact on both cars--and I'd be leaving with the new and better looking 2013. It may have been rationalization, but I'm very happy with my choice.
My Starfire Pearl is an attention-getter, especially with the redesigned front end. The car is fast, quiet, and loaded with many subtle electronic surprises. You have to be somewhat of a gadget geek (like myself) to comfortably dive into the Nav Package' extensive feature set. There are many user settings that can be personalized if you take the time and trouble to explore all of the screens. Heck, the manuals that came with the vehicle are 4" thick. Most people will throw their leatherette manual holder in the trunk--and forget it. I read the books and loved the little 'hidden' features that are sprinkled through out.
I agree with others that the lack of a cell phone storage area is a gross oversight, especially considering the extent to which Lexus has integrated your cell phone into the car's electronics (voice activated calls, Bluetooth streaming of music and audio books, contact lists, iPhone Apps, etc.) This brings me to a potential issue for any buyer with an incompatible Bluetooth-equipped cell phone. My new iPhone connected quickly and flawlessly. My wife's year old LG was incompatible! I was shocked when I determined she needs a new phone if she wants to enjoy the ES's cell phone features. Not a big deal, but still a potential hiccup when you go to program your new car. Have Dealer make the connection and use the incompatibility as a small negotiating tactic. Lexus has a website (http://touch.lexus.com/lexus/mobilelink/) to check compatibility; however, you may find that your phone has 'not been tested.' So, in real terms this site's usefulness is questionable. Interestingly, I test drove a used 2009 ES that had no trouble connecting to my wife's LG. Something has changed on the Lexus-side that affects compatibility...not good!
I'll update my Post as I get additional driving time in my new ES.
