My mother is getting ready to make an offer on a 2007 Lexus ES350. She has been working w/ a salesman in Springfield, Mo. and was just wondering if anyone else on here has recently bought a car from this dealership and if they were willing to budge off the msrp. I figured out the msrp on the PT model w/ her preferred options would be 41,900.00. The invoice price to be $36,616.00 and the kbb price to be $39,913.00. She is also wanting to add on the chrome wheels which are showing to be $2000,00-msrp. The salesman has told my mom that their dealership has a shortage of cars right now w/ a high demand. What is the best advice that you can give her for an offering price in Mo. or Ar, or Ok. (Tulsa or Ok City). I wasn't sure what the invoice price on chrome wheels would be, but noticed that someone on here paid $1000,00 for 4 chrome wheels. Any advice that you can give us would be helpful. |

I was just minutes away from going to the dealership and ordering my ES350 when I decided to build it one more time online to decide on a color....when I noticed that the prices for the packages changed...Has anyone else noticed this...It has made a huge difference of a couple of thousand dollars. Please give me some input.

Replying to: tonyguy2000 (Oct 09, 2006 7:38 pm) I then called about 10 other Lexus dealerships in the bordering states and asked them for their lowest price on an ES350 either in their inventory or if I were to order it. The key here is to ask for the sales manager and not just one of the salesman!!! The lowest price I got was 37.9k. However, I then presented this to the local dealership and found out that they could in fact budge on that MSRP...$3,508 to be exact. I then bought it from them since I didn't have to travel to get it. The Lesson I learned: You dont have to pay what they tell you to pay. Good Luck on your car buying experience..

I finally picked up my Tungsten Pearl UL with black interior today from Jim Falk Beverly Hills. They were fantastic to deal with. I ended up at $500 over invoice and a great deal on my trade in. Very little negotiation... started at $1000 over invoice. I showed him an offer from another dealer and he matched it. When I picked up the car, no upsell or anything. A painless, pleasant experience. I initially ordered the car the end of August... I really wanted red or white but just couldn't get it. I was apprehensive over the fact there was no deposit taken and the only paper I had was an unsigned computer print out showing price. When I called and said I'd also take a Tungsten Pearl, I got a call within a day that my car was on the boat. When I got to the dealer... no hassle, paperwork handled quickly and no surprises in pricing... after all, it was 7 weeks and my trade in was older and had 1000 miles more. All in all, I highly recommend Jim Falk Lexus.
