Replying to: krishnav (Nov 01, 2008 3:12 pm) Congratulations for successfully negotiated the good deal! And I envy you very much! I have been negotiating with a local dealer for a 2009 ES450 but could not get a good deal like yours. So, do you mind my asking that: "Could you supply supporting documents, i.e. transaction papers - with your personnal info 'blacked out' - that I can use to negotiate with my dealer?" I would understand it perfectly if you are unable to do so. But if you could "go forward", we could communicate with email, if that is acceptable to you. Regardless, I thank you very much for your time... |

Replying to: lexusbunny (Nov 10, 2008 6:34 pm) That's an excellent rate. Anything under 5% is very good and even 5% is not bad at all. I have not found anything under 5% for up 72 months and that's at Geico FCU. My target date to purchase is the last week in December. The dealers in ATL are still somewhat high. With the 2008 almost gone, I'm looking at a 2009 (ES wNav), hoping to get close to invoice 37k. |

Hello everyone. I am looking to buy a 2008 ES 350 which MSRP is $42595. I am trying to figure out what would be a good price to pay for this car. I am hoping to buy from Sewell in Fort Worth. I would also like to know if anybody has had problems with their service department.

Hello all, Earlier this week I went in to negotiate on the car listed above in the DFW, Texas area. The best I could get was 39500 out the door. They wouldn't apply the $1000 rebate from lexus since I was paying cash on the car. What are your thoughts on the price? Could I do better? By the way, the internet process with the dealers is a joke. They won't even give you a number to work with unless you come in to the dealer. Thanks everyone for your help.
