I just check the current incentives, it shows there is a $1000 cash to dealer on all ES 350. Shall I also factor in the 2%-3% holdback? How do I factor in the delivery fee of $825 and ad fee? any advise is greatly appreciated. |

Replying to: lexus14 (Oct 28, 2008 12:55 pm) Nada invoice: 36804 Advertising fee: 515 Freight: 425 (was 800 something and they said they will pay for half) Plus 1500 they said they will charge over invoice The total is 39244 + TTL The car comes with premium plus, navigation, HID lamp, rear seat airbag, full size spare, pwr rear sunshade, int park assist, wood & leather trim steering wheel, body-side moldings, all weather mats, accessory package...I checked all these out on nada.com and it does come to 36804. I guess if I don't care about the color combination it will be easier. The one I want is not available but only in the NE regions (as I was told). He said there is only one availalbe even though there are 15 coming in to port but the freight from there would be even higher. Any ideas? Any comment is welcome...I really need some help! I am not very good at negotiations... |

| isn't $1500 over invoice too much. and you didn't mention the $1000 cash rebate from manufacturer. | |

$1500 over invoice is too much. All car dealers are hurting right now because few people can get credit. In addition to the $1,000 rebate from mfg to dealer, you should be asking for about $1,500 off. THis means you should be telling the dealer you will buy the car for $34,304(including destination) + TTL. You must be willing to walk away if they don't bite. Don't negotiate from your offer or the dealer wins. Tell them you are looking at other cars, BMW and Mercedes. Good luck.

Replying to: jano2 (Oct 27, 2008 6:25 pm) Has anyone checked out the Lexus official site. There has been an across the board price drop on the ES 350. It appears that you can now get an Ultra ES 350 for MSRP $39025.00, that's down from around just over MSRP $43000.00 The economy is clearly driving this. Good time to buy if you can!!!. Check it out!! |

Replying to: weniki (Oct 31, 2008 8:29 am) I am still talking to a couple of dealers. There is no way I can get them to come even close to the invoice. They wouldn't even want to talk. My best bet right now is about $1700 over true invoice. The $1500 over invoice I quoted before is with another $515 over the invoice I got from nada.com so really it's $2015 over invoice. I am trying to have them lower the price a little more and throw in the tint. If I can get it about $900 to $1000 over invoice I will take it. |
