My new UL will be delivered some time this week. I am trying to determine whether or not to purchase the tire/wheel warranty (5 yr, unlimited miles) and Paintless Dent Repair Service (3 year). Looking for input on whether or not either is worth it. I am not purchasing the extended warranty at this time.

How much is it? Personally, I think extended warranties are a waste of money especially on a quality Japanese car whether it's Toyota/Nissan/Honda or their expensive versions, unless you plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off. When I told my Lexus dealer I didn't want an extended warranty, he still pushed it and dropped the price from around $1400 to an amazing "deal" of $750 or so. Goes to show the $ they make on them even if you do get some of it back if the car is traded before the warranty period expires. They especially like to push it on people who can't say "no". |
