Replying to: jbhauser (Oct 30, 2008 5:10 pm) It is really dangerous to drive with it - it switches to limp mode without warning, on the freeway, in the middle of an intersection (I wonder what idiot designed it. Why doesn't it give me at least 30s time before doing it ...)

Replying to: jirka (Feb 09, 2009 5:41 pm) My wife, the primary driver of the vehicle, has mentioned that the throttle response seems more subdued than it was prior to the fix. |

In my own experience for instance, I bought a '99 Sonata new, and now after nearly 10 years and over 100,000 miles have had no major problems. Good luck with your next brand purchase, no matter what it may be. |

| The seats in the Veracruz seem pretty good to me. It's got every adjustable option. Back/forth, tilt up down, height, back angle, even lumbar. Then you've got the power adjustable pedals and power telescopic steering wheel. | |

I believe the 09MY Veracruz is available in Canada. Any idea when it will be released to US dealers? Thanks. |

A reporter wants to interview someone who drives a 3-row crossover, has kids and plans to drive the vehicle to a vacation destination instead of taking an airplane. If this describes you, please respond to jfallon Thanks, Jeannine Fallon Coporate Communications Edmunds.com |

| I've been waiting several months now for the 09s to show up at the dealer. I've heard that they are being held somewhere, probably in outdoor storage lots, waiting for the dealers to get rid of the 08s. My wife is worried that, having sat for so long after manufacture, they may be subject to more problems than a "freshly made" car. At first, I told her that there was little to worry about, but the more I think about the gasoline in the tank turning to lacquer, small animals chewing on the wiring harness or crawling into the vents and dying, etc., the more I think she may be right. Any thoughts? | |
