The VC performed flawlessly and the tires were no problem. I was actually a bit surprised they performed as good as they did. Today I had a lot of vibration on the highway but it turned out to be snow in the wheels causing the "imbalance". It quickly went away when the snow melted. Can't say enough about the vehicle. Replying to: ibpublic (Feb 07, 2008 4:49 pm) As with any "all season" tire, they are a compromise.   Personally I'd invest a set of dedicated snows and rims if you drive in snow often and save the OEM's for summer use.

Replying to: mjb56 (Feb 07, 2008 5:05 pm) What brand of tire do you have on your VC. The KUMHO's are not doing it for me on ice. Snows not a problem but we get a lot of snow that melts then freezes then it snows on top of that making driving a bit tricky. Thank goodness for the auto stick!

Replying to: peteckim (Oct 22, 2007 9:05 am) I bought a new VC in Feb. and just had to have the fuel pump replaced along with my steering wheel fixed due to a grinding sound. I mentioned I had to crank up the engine to get it started and that wasn't like that when I bought 3 mos. ago. I noticed it after 2 mos. They mentioned that there was a problem with a some VC's made at a certain plant that they had fuel pump problems with, but didn't tell me the plant. Did you notice the MPG improved after it was replaced. I only get 15.7 on the average mostly around town.

Does anyone know if the veracruz has that electronic throttle linkage ( which I know nothing about ). There doesn't seem to be an immediate response when I press the accelerator but just a (very short) delay. I think I read somewhere that that was characteristic of the electronic throttle linkage. Hey folks. My wife & I are looking at SUV's and have it narrowed down to two. The Nissan Murano and the VeraCruz. Does anyone know when Hyandai will add the back up camera to the Veracruz? My wife really likes the feature, but as far as we can tell, it has not been added yet. But, we hear about it!   Any and all help on this would be appreciated.   Thanks. Dave

Just found out Yesterday (drove my Limited 08 VC home on Friday two days ago) that when I press the ESC Off button, the icon will not illuminate where it is suppose to illuminate.   Though I do hear a click whenever I press the ESC off button. Is that normal?   When I start the engine, both ESC - ESC Off illuminates as normal.   I am bringing it to the dealer today. Replies to this message: fpostadan (Jun 30, 2008 10:53 pm)
