Toyota does not stand behind their product

I purchased an 07 Camry in Nov 06. It has been in the shop 9 times for Rotors...this last time in the shopr, Toyota decided "They are denying any further repair to my car, saying it was how I drove the car".
Had an Acura Integra 300k miles - never had rotor issues
Had an 98 Plymouth Grand Voyager - 270k miles- no rotor problems
Had a 98 Chevy S10 - 240K miles - no rotor issues
Etc...Etc...Etc
Case and point, there is a problem and instead of trying to figure it out from the start, they treated the symptoms by turning rotors, replacing rotors and scuffing brake pads.
Buyers Beware: Toyota does not stand behind their product and that comes straight from the "Factory Reps". My family has purchased 5 cars from them in the last 5 years and wewill not buy another!

Glad to hear it worked out! Oftentimes, we never hear back from people with a problem -- it's nice to know that a diagnosis over the internet was correct.

Air Recirculation failuare at 50F

Hi, I have a Toyota Camry 07 V6 LE. In the past two years we've owned the car it has never had this problem during the winter months. When temperatures reach below 50 degrees Fahrenheit the car's air recirculation shuts off. Activating it again keeps the recirculation going for less than a minute or two before it fails again.
The dealership seems to think this is a "factory" built in feature, I doubt that this is true. Can anyone confirm this? Thank you!

Yes, it is a factory feature. I think it even tells you that in your owner's manual. The reason is it prevents people from fogging up their windows by leaving it on too long. You can defeat this feature temporarily if you want. I think I have posted how to do it before, but I'll tell you again if you want.

I have a 2007 Camry I noticed a musty smell coming from the vents and white particles on the dash and other surfaces. I changed the cabin filter, but still had the same problem. I brought it to the dealer after reading some of the posts on this site. The dealer tried to blame it on the aftermarket cabin filter I used! I told them that It was happening with the original Toyota cabin filter. I explained about the evaporator core problems that many 2007 Camry/Lexus owners were having. They checked and told me their is a service bulletin about it and they would have to replace the evaporator core. This is a very expensive job and should be covered under my warranty. If anybody else has this same problem, take your car to your local Toyota dealer immediately.

I'm new to this network, so I missed your earlier instructions about how to temporarily disable this feature. Please tell us again (March and April are skunk breeding season in our area, so it'd be invaluable info).

I hope you showed enough aggravation at their trying to blame the cabin filter you'd used.

These problems, musty smell and "snow flakes" are common to all Toyota and Lexus products and most probably every vehicle of asian manufacturer that uses an HVAC design by NipponDenso.
