Ok...maybe a weird question. But these new mini cars make such a fuss about versitility of seating that I thought I'd ask. (I also saw a picture of a mazda2 toady...*not sold in the US*..and it's back seat reclines completely when the front seats are laid out flat so you can sleep in it) Could one person sleep in the fit? It sure would be neat to do overnight camping in a state or national park with nothing needed but a few supplies and my car. Does the fit's back seat recline when the front seats are laid flat? Replying to: cecirdr (May 14, 2006 1:50 pm) But I'd have to have a bag or mat, because I was in the cargo area, not on the seats, because (to answer you actual question) no, the rear seats do not recline past a relaxed upright seating position.

I'm looking to replace my 94 accord wagon and I can't give it up because tossing my bike in the back without taking off the wheel is too convernient. I'm still waiting for the right solutiom and i guess the Fit won't do it.

Anyone know what the 4 anchors are in the rear cargo area for?
