Then I saw the Blackberry Pearl sitting next to it . . . . It's been 6 months now and I'm still in love with the color. The way it changes according to the light it's in is fascinating, but it's always pretty (except when dirty and it is similar to black to keep clean). The color is uncommon enough in this area that when I took it for its first oil change, the tech even remarked on how rare the color is.

what is your preference exterior color on the 09 fit?

I wish there was a metallic dark red, but of all the colors offered I prefer the black. Note that the '09 colors are the same as '08, except:   Taffeta White returns (same as '07) Nighthawk Black Pearl is replaced by Crystal Black Pearl (seems slightly more metallic)

The dealer was going to throw in a pinstripe for free with my 09 blackberry pearl sport. It's black/ silver and has the H honda emblem. Should I get it? Any thoughts? I can't decide if I like the way it looks.

I thought that I would want to get the Dark Blue one. All the Hondas I had to date have been black. Chose the Storm Silver and happy with it. They had a Red one there as well, and I flirted with the thought, but thats not my personality.   Part of the consideration was also that not many dealers have stock and if they do its limited, so if I wanted to get the car now, SSM it was going to be.
