in the front the sleepy thing... And i did 4get the imo thing... oops !!

Any 1 surprised at the fact that "gm" finally offers a vehicle with fold flat 3rd row without having an extended wheel base. Looks like now you can take you, your spouse, benny, sally, betty, and bob on that road trip without removing the seats (or like toyota, fold them to the sidewalls) and still go on that shopping spree!

Lol, honestly I thought there would be more discussion on this thread. It's been pretty empty here.

In any case, now that we know the price of the XL7, I think it will stack up very well to the others in it's class like the Santa Fe, Outlander, and RAV4. It's engine already beats the output of the Santa Fe and Outlander. Plus the interior is really nice.

I am considering this or the Outlander 2007.
I think the Outlander has more features though ... but I like the overall exterior design on this one.
I need to fit a 1-booster and 2 car seats in the 2nd row so I can keep the 3rd row vacant for stuff.
So far- the Oulander has more 2nd row shoulder room but the XL7 has 2 inches more of hip room.

Does this have a timing chain or belt?
Also - how is the reliability on the Chevy Equinox -- the sister car?

Thanks.

Although they are both on the Theta platform, keep in mind it is difficult to compare the reliability with Equinox as the engine ,Tranny and suspension are completely different, the equinox will be getting the 3.6L later on in '07, but is now using GM's 3.4, the suspension is set up alot stronger on the suzuki as it will be carrying 7 people.
But, you'll find the Equinox to be very "average" as far as quality goes..................

XL7 is very roomy, and the new 3.6L V6 gets peak torque at only 2300 RPM -- awesome. All for $23,000 for a base model. Definitely a good buy, maybe the best buy out there.

Just bought the 2007 XL7 Limited Platinum Series by mm9351

Picked up my platinum packaged limited XL7 yesterday and needless to say I'm loving it. It replaced an 04 EX XL7. First impressions: PLUSH compared to the 04; comfy seats, smooth, quiet and controlled ride, navigation system is awesome (has the 3-D view) and the audio system is simply outstanding. XM Radio is standard along with the mp3 input, rear heat & AC controls, and what's this? A desk / writing surface on the back of the passenger seat for your laptop? Wow, Suzuki thought of everything. I don't think you can find another vehicle in this class for this price. The deal breaker? The chrome wheels peg the 'wow' meter, and believe me this car is a head-turner. Suzuki has out-done themselves; this car is a winner. Let me know if there's anything I left out.

Has anyone heard what the Canadian price range will be??
 looks great!!!!!!!!!!

Good luck finding a dealer! Aside from Toronto, Brantford and a few other places, there aren't many Suzuki dealers around.
