How did you get the dealer to offer it at $22,475? GM supplier discount or employee discount? I chose the 4-cyl because of the gas mileage - i liked the ride of the V6 better, though. I went with the XR trim to "treat" myself, really. I also considered total cost of ownership, which you can figure out easily with the saturn when you get a car care package. with the car loan and the car care, plus the gap insurance, the total cost of ownership still ended up being less than my price for the car after my GM supplier discount. That to me sounded like a good deal. I haven't heard of any rebates on the hybrids. I decided to wait until hybrid technology is more advanced, and cheaper; for that matter, when it's time to get a new car years down the road it may be a hydrogen or electric car, who knows.
