Been reading/posting here for a bit, so I wanted to share my experience. Ordered a 2010 Platinum (Slate / Redrock) on October 12 and got it delivered on November 24. MSRP was about 61K...Paid 56,100 after $500 rebate Toyota is offering to vehicles placed in a business's name (did not find out this pleasant surprise until signing all documents)...also took advantage of 0% for 36months. Put almost 1,000 miles on it in one week. Nav and bluetooth are much better than expected, as I had heard others were disappointed. For long trips the Radar Cruise control rocks...it is amazing. I did not touch the gas or brake for a solid 2 hour stretch on the PA Turnpike...incredible technology. My 2 kids were were happy with DVD and the Boxer had plenty of room to stretch out and lay down in the cargo area next to all of our luggage. Very happy so far. |

Just purchased a 2010 Black Limited. With DVD player, mats and tint, MSRP came out to 51078. Purchased for 47500 (50198 after TTL). Also got 7 year platinum warranty for 1800 additional. Not sure the original price on that, but the original offer was the 5 year gold warranty for 1600. So I saved something, at least. Not terribly impressed with the DVD player ($999 model, not the $1400 model shown on toyota.com), but overall quite satisfied. |

Hi, Havent posted here in a while but just wanted to share my buying experience. About a month ago traded in my 2005 V8 4Runner and got $20K for it. Was really looking for a limited with Nav and DVD. Bought a 2008 SR5, 5.7l 4WD for $33K with 7Kmiles. It has leather seats, power 3rd row, flip down rear view camera, bluetooth, no nav, no dvd. Just installed headrest DVD system for $1300. Am planning to "limitize" it my self!! I have to say this truck is incredible and I think I got a pretty good deal. By the way I pay cash for my vehicles so I think for $13000 plus tax of 8.62% I made out OK. Good luck everyone else in your Sequoia hunting!! |

Here is November. Tepid sales continue. Not getting better, but not getting worse. Although, as sales started to die at the end of 2008, year-over-year comparisons may become more difficult to interpret. Same format explanation for November: Sequoia was down -18.9% in November 2009 versus November 2008. I wanted to know if Toyota will bring back any cash Incentives like last year's $3000 cash back or sweeten the deal on the 0% interest rate to 48 or 60 months in December. Looking to buy a Limited in a couple weeks. Thanks

| A lot of folks are posting here about buying a GL vs. a Sequoia. I had a 2008 GL550 and just sold it. I couldn't be happier. Horribly designed car. Very poor quality tires and will hydroplane at the slightest drizzle on the road. I couldn't go faster than 70 on a highway when it would rain. Access to 3rd row is horrible. I have two kids. With the two car seat in the second row, the seat will not fold down for access to the third row rendering it useless. With a infant seat and a toddler seat, there was no room in between them for anyone to sit comfortably. GPS is horrible. Searching for a restaurant by name is like pulling teeth with pliers. No touch screen and rather the button and arrows to use. IPOD integration is even worse. You cannot select which song to play. The IPOD control is in the steering wheel only and all you can do is play next. The system will pick out the song on its own randomly. The DVD player in the back used to make me scream. Its located under the rear passenger seat. If you have to change a DVD, you will have to pull over, go around the car, get under the seat and change. The controls are via a remote and accessible by rear seat passengers only so the front seat people cannot change the song or movie. No wireless headphones. No bluetooth kit. For a $80k car, MB still wants you to pay $400 for a bluetooth adapter. I regretted buying that car and couldn't be happier kicking if off my driveway. Waiting for toyota to improve the incentive on sequoia so I can go get that. Save your money folks. Do not buy a MB just because it is a MB. | |
