What area of the country are you in? In the northeast, right now you would have gotten invoice minus $2500 rebate minus $1500-1700 dealer cash.

Well, that is a bit unfortunate I don't live there. I live in the Southwest, and I have the vehicle being delivered from the Midwest. That extra 1500-1700 would have been nice. However, I am quite pleased with the work the dealer I worked with. My local dealer promised that there was no way I could get what I wanted. The Midwest dealer has shown me that is not correct. Too bad I did the legwork to get my vehicle (OK, "webwork", as I didn't have to doing any walking.

not for my buddy. he paid a grand to extend the comprehensive to 10yrs 100,000 mi. just wondering if he should shop it around while he still can.
though I agree with you, the standard should be enough

Just today done the deal for Santa FE AWD + 04 Premium Package(moonroof , heated seats, power driver seats etc.) + Bluetooth system + carpeted floors mats.
I paid $23,000 OTD in Fairfax, VA. I think it was excellent deal but would like to know - was it good enough ? Was there in scope for going down further?
Let me know

Santafe_Fan I think that is a good OTD price. What dealership did you buy from?

That's great deal especially with AWD plus all other features. I'm in Bayarea, and dealers have no willingness to lower down the price by pointing me the low inventory in their lots.
