The 2LT also comes with fog lights, the pioneer sound system and more interior ambient lighting. There might be other things as well, and I'm forgetting them. For me, those additional items were well worth the additional cost. Yet, lots of people have the 1LT and love them as well. I hope you are able to find what you're looking for... and that the extra $500.00 works out for you!

I just ordered an LT2 with the leather seat package (JET BLACK/LIGHT TITANIUM, PERFORATED LEATHER (AFM). Can someone tell me if those seats are heated? The dealer tells me Yes, I've chatted with 2 people at Chevrolet.com, one who says Yes, and one who says no, I have to go LTZ to get the heated seats.

rear view camera possible to purchase from parts for 1lt? by markm75

Does anyone know if the wiring is already in the 2010 lt1, if it doesnt come with the camera system (mirror)..

IE: if i could find the parts for the mirror and camera, it would simply need wired into the vehicle (hopefully with existing wiring) and replace the standard mirror?

Thanks

purchased equinox 2010 1lt- admin fees, title & tag transfer fees? by markm75

So i finally found the exact car i had been looking for.. it was the 1lt that has bluetooth and the rear view camera.. though i get in there, and realize it also had the cargo package, so that made the msrp 26910 or so

I used the supplier discount through the credit union to get them to reduce the sale price to 25,510.

However, when they write up the sales slip they then show a $325 admin fee and a $198 title/plate transfer fee.

I tried to get them to at least get rid of the admin fee but it was a no go.

Is $198 (in PA) typical to transfer the title and plates from my old car? Any tricks to get them to remove this admin fee...

I basically signed a temporary financing paper on Saturday that let me take the car home until wednesday when i get approval on the loan from my other credit union. (I have one already approved but at a higher interest rate, 7.55 while the other is only 5.25 if i get it).

Is it too late to haggle on the admin fee at least? I heard there is a 3 day return period?

Any thoughts..

Thanks

The admin fee is pretty standard. The one your dealer is charging is a little high, but not out of the stratosphere. Usually with higher admin fees you can bargain the price down a little more. If you are getting the supplier discount, all of that comes from GM. So there is still the amount between invoice and supplier for your to bargain.

I have no idea about the transfer fee in PA if that is typical or not as I don't live there. That is a question for your local DMV or County Clerk (whoever handles registrations).

Some states have a three day return period. PA may be one, not sure.

How do you mean there is still the amount between invoice and supplier.. do you mean the dealer gets the amount of the discount?

IE: whats the best way to propose lowering or dropping the fee (it may not even be possible, since technically i've signed "something" already, in my case, temporary financing till i can pick which credit union i'm going with by weds.. not sure if they would adjust it now, though i havent put the money down i was planning on yet.

Picking up a '10 1LT by antilles72

We have decided on a 2010 1LT Equinox with the Vehicle Interface Package. MSRP is $24,600 and with rebates we are getting it for $22,286 before TTL. I believe we did well and we looked at the 2010 Ford Escape and 2009 Toyota Highlander and Venza before deciding.

The Equinox had the quietest ride of all 4 and had the most feature we wanted (USB, Bluetooth, remote start). Power Seats would have been nice, but we wanted to stay close to $22,000. The 2 Toyota's had the best seats and interior trim, but lost out on the above checklist and price.

Coming from a "Toyota" guy, deciding on the Equinox was quite easy, since it had what we were looking for.
