I wish I had taken a picture of the rear of that Mercedes-Benz. The woodwork inside the van was SPECTACULAR! The entire load floor including wheel well covers were made of wood with metal runners down the middle. So nice. I actually met the guy who did the woodwork and he was (justifiably so) proud of it.

It was a small show, especially compared to Macungie or Carlisle, but it went well. The weather was excellent, but it could've been about 5 degrees cooler.

There were a lot of interesting cars there including a V-12 roadster and a couple of V-16s. One surprisingly rare car was a 1937 LaSalle two-door sedan. Only 711 were made. The four-door sedans and business coupes were more popular. Of course there were plenty of '59s. Seems like every one of them survived as did every 1965 Mustang and 1957 Chevrolet. There was a beautiful 1964 Eldorado convertible in this really nice shade of teal blue metallic. There also was a 1966 Series 75 limousine, a 1974 flower car, and a 1977 ambulance.

Per judging, my Brougham is an Emeritus car which means it's received at least 5 first-place awards. In other for others to compete, my car is removed from judging to encourage newer members. In other words, if the same guys keep winning, others may lose interest. I do get a little plate to screw onto a plaque for participating.

Hope to see you guys at Carlisle and Hershey!
