I talked my buddy into putting his '78 Mark V in the show. At first he was reluctant, because there are so few old Lincolns. So I used the argument that they need him more than ever, he needs to represent!!

And it looks like the weather's going to be nice. Last time I checked it's supposed to be sunny and a high of 81. Nice change from last year, when I think it got up almost 100!

I was thinking of putting the Grand Marquis in it for the heck of it, but the entrance fee was $50! Why is the Ford show $50 compared to the others that are $30? Grbeck?

Well, the Mopar show is actually $40, same as the Ford show. The GM show is $30, because it's a much smaller show and they're still trying to "grow" it. However, there is a cutoff date, so many days before the show, where they raise the fee by $10, which puts the Ford and Mopar shows to $50, and the GM show to $40.

If you put two cars in the show, they do give you a break. For instance, in 2002-2005, I used to put both the Intrepid and the 5th Ave in the Mopar show. The second car was either $5 or $10 cheaper, I forget now.

I haven't figured out how this forum works yet. So sorry for three posts that seem to be separated.

Anyhow, Admission price for spectators is $10 and it's a tax write off. Children 12 and under free. Any questions don't hesitate to email me at tvaguesoftininc.org Thank you for everyone's support in this incredible organization!

On what basis is the admission cost a tax write off?

SOFTIN is a 501 (c) (3) non profit organization. Admission, the car entries, vender spaces, silent auction and things bought from SOFTIN are tax write off's. It's all charitable donations which are all tax write off's.
