Actually, this is a new question since you seem to know a lot about this crappy bluetooth system. I have Verizon enV3 and I absolutely can't pair it...I've tried every menu I can find...and the manuals are not helpful in the least. I can't find the discovery mode in my car and sometimes the new device is detected but the connection still fails. I don't have a lot of faith in the dealership, they don't even know how to help me with the navigation system. It seems like the owners manual is written for a different car!

If your LG is connected to the car it won't pair up with your new phone. Go to your bluetooth options in your old phone and disconnect Handsfree. Now try to connect your new phone and it should go OK.

There is a way to delete the device from the Toyota but I don't know the process off the top of my head. If you don't plan to use the old phone anymore you should check the manual to delete it.

Using Bluetooth Hands-Free Causes Painful Noise by bolillo

I have a 2007 Camry Hybrid and finally hooked up my Sony Ericsson Z750a to the bluetooth technology in the vehicle. My carrier is AT&T if that makes any difference. Anyway, my problem is that, although I can hear the person I'm talking to just fine using the hands-free bluetooth, the person gets a painful jolt of noise every 10-15 seconds that makes it sound like I'm in a war zone. Any thoughts on how to solve this problem? Thank you

Greetings all,

I have had my 07 Camry SE since July of 06 and I am still enjoying my bluetooth. I have had no problems with my system at all. The only thing that I have encountered is when I am outside cleaning my car, the bluetooth will pick up even though my phone is in the house. I have a sprint katana phone and I have had NO PROBLEMS.

The way I was told to enter extra digits into the Toyota Camry phone book was to have them programmed in the phone, then transfer that specific contact into the car phonebook using the automatic upload capability.
I could not get it to work, but good lunch to you.

Camry Navigation & Bluetooth is BROKEN. by hblatt

I have a Toyota Camry Hybrid with the full JBL Navigation system. This system is a useless waste of money. The handsfree bluetooth system has never right. It works of you are sitting in the showroom... But as soon as there is any background (Like driving.) noise nobody can hear you. I have had it back to the dealer 3 times and it cannot be fixed. It is a design flaw. Another annoying flaw is the fact you can't operate the Navigation system while the car is moving. You can't change a destination or locate a gas station. Perhaps Toyota's Lawyers would like to PAY for my navigation system since they seem to be they only ones who control how I can use it. Toyota's chicken lawyers even set the speedometer 3 mph faster than you are actually going. I guess they are afraid of people suing them for speeding tickets... Somehow they think making the speedometer read incorrect numbers will fix the problem... I HATE TOYOTA'S CHICKEN LAWYERS.

I can't figure out how to get the bluetooth to work after the 1st step in the manual? The transaction took place late. Can anyone share some light on this matter please? I 'm headed to the dealership in a few days.
