Team Camry Need some advice.....Is there a way to turn down the ringer volume for incoming calls? My wife has sensitive ears and it's just to dang loud for her. This is not referenced in the manual and I didn't see anything in a post search. Thanks in advance |

Boy, activity in this thread seems to have dwindled. I wonder if bluetooth guy ever checks in anymore. At any rate, my wife and I are switching from Sprint to AT&T in the next few days. We would like to purchase two Bluetooth phones that have some of the latest bells and whistles, but more importantly, are highly compatible with our 2007 Camry. Can anyone offer some suggestions or share their personal experiences? It would be most appreciated. |

Okay, I admit I am really dumb when it comes to Technology, but here is my question. I finally got my phone to pair with my Camry. Do I have to have numbers in my cellphone by name in order for the Bluetooth system in the car to recognize them? When i am setting up the Bluetooth in the car I try and say call by number and it won't do it. I appreciate any help you can give me. Does the Bluetooth system in the car look for numbers added in my cellphone? Thanks chris |

My wife and I are looking to upgrade our Sprint phones. We have a 2007 Camry XLE with Navigation. We are very interested in the relatively new Samsung Instinct, but letstalk.toyota.com doesn't mention anything about this phone's Bluetooth capabilities for the Camry. I'm hoping the site just hasn't been updated. Has anyone tried using the Samsung Instinct with their 2007-2009 Camry models? I'd sure appreciate any info you can provide. |

Replying to: awp (Jul 03, 2008 4:32 am) Did you ever get your problem straightened out? If so, how? I have another problem. My Iphone 3G pairs easily with the Camry bluetooth system but I hear any echo of everything I say. Folks I call say i frequently "break up." Neither of these occurred with my Treo 680, which worked flawlessly in the same car. Do you or anyone else have any ideas what I can do to fix this? Thanks

Switching to the Verizon Network looking for a phone that people won't complain about like they do, "sounds distorted", with my Sony Ericsson Cingular AT&T phone. I use my cell for calls and a text message from time to time. |
