I have the same problem. My car is 08 Camry SE V6 with JBL 6-disc (no navi system). I am using Motorola V3C. I can pair the phone and talk, but the next day when I start the car, and I cannot see the bluetooth symble on the JBL screen. My cell phone is on 24 hrs a day.

Should the bluetooth automatically pair each time when I turn on the JBL system? How can I fix the problem.

Problem solved. Set my cell phone bluetooth / handset on all the time. Now each time when I enter the car and turn on the JBL, the blurtooth sign shows up and show the signal strength. It is working great now.

You must check toyota.letstalk.com to check if your bluetooth phone is compatable. Then go to toyota.com and type in bluethooth in the search section and they will give you a play by play on how to work every aspect of your system.

iphone/mac contacts to Camry? by jshore23

Just bought a 2009 Camry XLE with bluetooth/nav.

My iphone won't "send" contacts to the car's address book (at least, not that i know of). I tried taking my mac laptop out to the car and sending a contact to the Camry via bluetooth. The macbook recognized the Camry as a bluetooth device called "HANDSFREE" but couldn't verify (or maybe it was authorize?). Either way, i couldn't send the contact.

Anyone have any suggestions how to get my macbook or iphone contacts into my camry via bluetooth?

Thanks for any suggestions!

Dan if you have not found the fix you will have to set your phone to link it is most likely not the car but your phone defaults back. I had the same problem. I have to tell the phone to see blue tooth every time.

My Bluetooth has lost its mind. I say call Jim S. and it says add entery . I say go back it says something else like dialing but dialing the wrong number. It is always diffrent. I can say your mom wears combat boots and it says dialing your sister. I finally cancel and drive around ilegal since in New Mexico its a no cell while driving. I have tried to format the system and start over with no luck. Has anyone found this problem and a fix or how to format?

Two questions #1 when I dial using my RAZR, the radio goes dead, and the phone shows connected, nothing happens, the I get a call back, you called me??? Happens all the time.
#2: I say call Paul, and it come back as call home? Or call Mike's cell? What the hell is the matter with this system??
Frustrating, when it doials by voice comand it does work sometimes.
Thanks

My 2007 Camry XLE bluetooth is driving me nuts. I call people and they keep saying they can't hear me. When they do, they complain about an echo sound. I have full sugnal when this happens so it shouldn't be caused by a week signal. Are there any solutions? Is it defective or is this normal?

Is the call volume very high? This could cause the microphone to mute as it tries to compensate for the noise, resulting in the behavior you are describing. I'd also borrow somebody else's (different model) phone and doublecheck that it's not an issue with your phone.
