Probably a specialist , unless you are handy with door panel removal , etc.

Hello everyone..
I am new to this website and after reading all the discussions I think I will be able to get some help..
I got my Civic coup 2006, 5 speed MT in October 2005.
since last few weeks I have been noticing some creekin noise from the rear windshield area of my car when the tires hit an uneven surface. Also, when I play the stereo on higher volume with medium bass and treble, I hear a weird vibrating noise near the rear windshield probly cos thats where the subwoofer is located and is close to the windshield.
Could somebody please suggest me what it might be cos its pretty annoying.

I thought somebody already answered this on another thread. Some Canada-built cars had problems with lifting front and rear windshield gaskets. It's covered under warranty and so are "weird vibrations". There seems to be a raft of "don't know what you're talking about it seems fine" coming from Honda so you have to insist on service. Get the windshield solved first, then see if the vibration is still there. They sound like the same problem to me.

Or you can save some money and do it yourself. It's not that hard to get the door panels off, though it takes some time. The dynamat does cut down on the sound, but the car will still be noisy. I recommend doing the floor as well as the doors.

Here's a good site:
