Hey thanks for the reply, guess people that crash their cars arent the only ones that reply. Frustrating that Mazda has no answers, dealers have no answers, and I guess I am the only one seeing these problems, probably will be the last time I buy a Mazda if they cant get a problem fixed or their dealers dont ever seem to have a clue (I have tried both in my area before my warranty expired). If I go with an Audi or a Volvo at least it will be an experience when I go to the dealer, and if I did get a Volvo, at least everything is covered for the next 5 years.

Sorry I may be a little late....
TCS light randomly coming on....I cannot help you, mine doesnt do it but mine is a FWD. I thought I had read a while back of someone having this TCS light coming on and it ended up being a transfer case (obviously a 4WD model). It was replaced under warranty but out of pocket could be very costly. So if yours is a 4WD model that may be the problem...I dont know for sure...if yours is FWD then I definately dont know what it could be...sorry!
The random front end noises....
Squeek = bumps stops not gliding over the shock rod. Fix...lubricate bump stops with a heavy grease so they slide up and down with out any noise.
Click-Click noise = axle splines have a little play. Fix...pack the axle splines with axle grease to minimize play.
Rear blower coming on after turning off vehicle = bad relays. Fix...there is a TSB for that, research it better. Replace both relays under the hood. Part# G115-67-730
Hope this helps!

Anyone have this problem with a 2011 CX-9 ? The headlights are very dim and seem misaligned... my dealer checked them and said they were fine - of course they would say that to send me on my way ,.... BUT they are very dim and it is a safety issue...
Any suggestions on what to do ? I used to own a Toyota so I was spoiled with GREAT service ...MAZDA is the opposite ....
HELP ! thx

SORRY to say but the system is designed to have you buy 4 tires ... so you have to just bite the bullet and pay the $1000 for tires... hope the old ones had some wear ...
Good Luck !

That's an old post you're replying to, so I'm not sure what the outcome was. But if the AWD system requires that the tires match, and the tires are pretty new, you can get one new tire "shaved" to match the circumference of the other three. Assuming you can find a new tire that otherwise matches the existing tire (same tread pattern, etc.).
Tirerack has info about it.
Now, if the tire size simply isn't available, that's another story.

I have a 2007 GT, bought new. Came with 20-inch wheels: OEM tires were Bridgestones, and they were awful. Only lasted about 36K, then I had to begin the replacement search. At that time, there were only five tires available in the correct size, one of which was the Bridgestone. After research on TireRack.com, settled on Pirelli Scorpions: turned out to be a great tire. The first set lasted 60K, and I replaced them with Pirellis as well, although by that time, there were several more 20-inch tires available, including Kumho and Hankook. I am a little disappointed in the second set of Pirellis: wet traction is not as good as the originals, although otherwise they're about the same. Have about 20K on these tires now, and they seem to be wearing quite well. I plan to dump this car in the next year, as it is a real money pit, but that's another whole story.
