Sorry, it wasn't clear we were only talking about features. Personally, I don't put a whole lot of emphasis on the giant (and heavy) mega-sunroof, but otherwise the Edge is a decent-looking Ford.

LOL...am I glad that certain fellow is not around here lately, this man had a big discussion with me about the BAMR in the EDGE. He thought that this was the most outstanding feature of the EDGE (and maybe it is), I granted that it is being flagged as the most important thing but I also do believe that there were other important features in the EDGE. I think that the extra seat in the CX 9 is good but to me is not that important, but a a young family with kids this seat is probably the MOST important feature...I also feel that the extra $7K or so there is some small stuff missing that apparently people do like..(trip computer, auto locking of doors when moving and a few others)

I've had my 07 CX-9 for a week now and have a question about the bose CD system that I was hoping someone here might be able to help with. Trying to determine whether you can get random play BETWEEN the 6 CDs - as well as within each CD. As far as I can tell, this is not possible, but thought I'd check here.

I mean playing a song from one CD, then a song from a differnet CD, then from a 3rd another etc etc- all randomly. My home 6 CD changer has that ability.

Since nobody else has replied, I'll give you my experience with an 05 Freestyle and 07 MKZ - both shuffle within a CD, but not among CDs. I suspect most if not all auto CD players work the same way.

The poster above is correct: you can not play randomly between CDs.
