I have been having fun with the vibration issue myself. Well since I had the truck and shop for the 3rd time today They told me Ford has a list of things to do. BUT..... They will not pay for it. Since I am not over my 36,000 miles. But what they dont understand is I have been having this problem before the miles ran out. But that is not good enough for Ford. So I am going to create a website and yes people think this is a long shot but I am going to collect as many names of people having the same problem and contact the BBB and Attorney Genrerals Office and just about everyone else who will listen. I feel is Ford wont listen lets make enough noise so other people will and not have the same problem we all have. I will post when the website is done.

#4 cyl..is miss firing intermittently (according to error code). Pressure is good. Have changed plug, wires. Could it be bad injector? high voltage coil? what are the symptoms.

Thanks

I recently purchased a 2004 F150 and had bad vibrations at 45-55 mph. Had it in the dealer 3 times and they finally sent a Ford engineer to look at. They discovered that my PCM had outdated software. They loaded the new software for the PCM and now I do not have the serious vibrations anymore at 45-55 mph. Thanks allot to all those that supported me in my time of need.

I'm glad to hear you got it taken care of. It's the first time I've heard of it being cured with a PCM software update.......if only it was always that easy!

We recently purchased a 2005 F-150. After a series of trips to the Ford Dealer, new tires, new caliphers, turned roters, alignment, indexing the rims to the tires.. they still cannot find out why we get a shimmy between 65 and 75mph. Yesterday, we were told that there is a "bulletin" from Ford out on what they call nimbling???? However, today, they called as they still have the truck and he said that they "needed" to turn the roters. I told them they already did that and he said "when"? Less than three weeks ago. I noted your post. Does PCM stand for Polution Control Module? Anyone have any ideas. This shimmy was not present until Ford got a hold of the truck and did a wheel alignment. I'm serious.. that's when it all started. Anyone, help..

I have been going through the same problem with my 2005 f-150 crew cab. If you feel closely you may actually feel the vibration start around the 45 mph area. I have had my truck in 4 times and it has to go back again. The vibration got worse after the last service. They have balanced, rotated, toed in, put a dampner on, now they want to force balance. I tried to call customer relations. Waste of time. I called 5 times. I was first told that I would receive a call back in 2 days, then 2-5 days, then 24 hrs. then 24-48hrs. Never a supervisor around. I tried the dealer this morning no call back. I gave up, I tried to work with ford but they are refusing to deal with me. I called the lemon law attorney. They said I have a case. So off to court we go.
To all reading this don't waste your time with ford, call an attorney. Maybe alittle extra pressure will get there asses moving.
