It seems like $4,500 below invoice is a good starting negotiating point. These cars aren't moving...... Of course, I would plan on getting external financing.

I would figure out the invoice and go from there, this can be done through the dealer or Edmunds.

I bought mine a couple of weeks ago for $4,250 below the invoice price which included the $3,500 manufacturer to dealer discount.

Nice job, can you give more detail on the car? At $4K under invoice, that can make up for premium fuel and lower than ideal MPG.

It is the Sport trim FWD without any factory installed options. They said premium fuel is not required for the 2008s and it was filled with regular when I drove it off the lot. So far, performance seems fine with regular and it certainly has a lot of spunk.
