I went to ALL STAR MAZDA in Hempstead. Do not get your car from them, they try to rip you off. the promised a CX-7 AWD for 24,500 plus Tax, destination and registration. Well, when they could not deliver, they try to get me to go for for something more expensive, which i did not want. Bottom line, they told me they got the car and instead gave me something else. I ended the contract and I am now in the process of getting my money back.
AVOID THEM AT ALL COST, THEY DO NOT DELIVER ON THEIR PROMISES!

CX-7 2008 AWD Touring by dmele426

I live in NYC/Queens. I contacted Hempstead Mazda for a CX-7 AWD Touring edition. I wanted the car as is only with standard equipment.
Dealer agreed to get me either liquid platinum or Ice meatlic blue with in a week.
Price given by dealereship originallly was $31K.
I told the salesman to get real, as I wanted to get the car within 2 or 3 days.
Finally agreed on $24,400+destination=$25K
Signed paper work and left deposit $1K down.
dealer offered 5.9% Finance on Mazda Credit, dealer later realized they could not sell the car I wanted so instead at the last minute, they give me a CX-7 GT AWD 2008 but they wanted to re-negotiate the price. After countless phone calls, I simply asked the dealership to give my deposit back as they were trying to give something different than what originally was agreed upon.
Do not do business with HEMPSTEAD MAZDA - TRICKY SALES STAFF!!!!!

On 6-Dec-07 I negotiated the following deal. Didn't have the color I wanted on the lot so their doing a search now. What do you think?

2008 cx-7
Grand Touring
All-wheel drive
Technology Package
Compass/dim mirror with HomeLink
Splash guards
cargo net/cargo tray
bumper guard
White pearl with sand leather
Hand painted pinstripe

$29,200 +TTL cash deal, no trade.

They said they had $1,500 cash back in that deal cause I didn't take the 0% financing offer. Somewhere else, I thought I saw that it was $2,000 cash back for that. Anyone know?

At R/S Mazda in Houston.

If this helps i just bought my CX-7 GT AWD for invoice 26188+tax,destination,title and registration. OTD price 29K. Oh did I forget to mention I order the icy-blue, awesome color!
I did not get any options with car, I liked the car with all of the standard equiptment. the finance was 5.2 but it was from my credit union.
Let me tell you, 3 days into getting used to my car and I really like it.
Everywhere I go, I get the look of "wow, nice SUV is it an infinity?"
for the price, i think the car is worth it.
I will keep you all posted on how things go, but so far i am loving it.
only one complaint, I wish I would get better mileage.

This past weekend I purchased the following vehicle at a dealer near Boston, MA

2008 CX-7
Grand Touring
AWD
Liquid Platinum Metallic
Black Leather
Moonroof/Bose package

I paid $26,400 (with the $1,500 incentive being factored in).

I ended up with a bad taste in my mouth because they sealed the deal with an additonal $500 rebate they promised using Mazda's recent college graduate program through the website, facebook.com. When I called the next day to process the rebate, Mazda customer service told me the incentive had expired quite a while ago and my dealership was mistaken. The dealership wouldn't make up the full $500, only coming down $100. Due to limited inventory of the CX-7 with these specific in the area, I ended up staying with the this dealer and completing a sale.

I spoke to another dealer who was willing to come down to around $25k (give or take) if I was willing to take the 2007 instead of the 2008.

I got my CX-7 GT loaded except the technology package. MSRP - $30,973, Bought for $25473. $5500 off sticker includes discount to $500 under invoice + dealer cash. When you buy a CX-7, there seems to be a lot of dealer cash incentives. Tell the dealership that you want all of the dealer cash along with $500 under invoice. The $500 under is tough to get, but you should be able to get a pretty good amount of $ in your pocket if you tell them that you want the dealer cash taken off of the price as well. The dealer cash is the $ they get from Mazda for each car that they sell at or beyond their goal. You can get this $ because most dealerships will sell you the car just to get a number towards their goal. I got a pretty sweet deal and I couldn't be happier, except for the door armrests vibrating loud where there is plastic on plastic construction by the window controls.

i bought a 2008, they try to get me to go for a 2007 but the difference in price was maybe $500 less, not worth my time or investment.
I took the 2008 AWD-GT on metallic blue.
very happy with my purchase, plus my finance was 5.29%.
i think for the price you get a lot of car!

How is my quote? by piloti_sti

Quoted $24166 for '08 CX-7 Touring FWD crystal white. It was $25545 with the Bose option.

Looks like I should be able to do much better. I also have the S-plan which I have never used. Should I ask for the dealer cash in addition to the S-plan pricing?

not bad, I think they are holding back some cash, look at the invoice price for that car and do the math. You hould get money back if you finance thru Mazda credit.
They offer me money back use Mazda credit. I also opted for the AWD option ($1,200) trust me it is worth it.
