Replying to: zachyzac (Jul 24, 2007 2:10 pm) where are you getting these quotes from? It's better than what I am seeing in western New York and PA. Looks like I'll be buying mine from out-of-state. I showed one of the car dealers here the $5500 off MSRP ad for CX-7's in Texas and they said that it was incredible deal. Also, it looks like Ford employees and friends get additional discounts too. ws46 |

FYI, It looks like Mazda dealers take Ford S-Plan discounts. I think you need to get a PIN from an employee or a distributor who deals with Ford. ws46 S-Plan: Mazda: Pricing is just below the “dealer invoice” price. The S-Plan price is noted on the dealer's copy of the invoice. X-Plan: Ford, Lincoln & Mercury: Ford Employee (A-Plan) price plus 4% Volvo: Ford Employee (A-Plan) price plus 2% Land Rover: Dealer Invoice price plus 4% (of MSRP) |

I stumbled across the cx-7 not long ago and ended up sitting down w/ a salesperson last night. They've got two I'm interested in and would be willing to pick up either one of them, please post your opinions. Both are CX-7, grand touring, 2wd... one has 3800 miles, dealer manager racked up the miles, and has the moon roof/bose package. msrp $28500, they have it red tagged at 24000 and I got them down to 23000. I'm asking for them to get me out the door at 23000, thus they pick up ttl. the other is the same car w/ 400 miles and no moon roof/bose package, i believe it msrp's at 26900 and they offered it up at 22000. I told them I'd take it at 22000 w/ them eating ttl. ttl in Texas comes out to be $1700-1800. The non mr/bose package has been on the lot since Aug 06. Am I asking too much off? I really think that me asking for an additional $1700 dollars isn't going to break the bank for them plus they have vested interest in moving an 07 that has been sitting since Aug 06 and a 07 w/ 3800 miles on it. Thanks for your post in advance.

Replying to: xflynnx (Jul 26, 2007 1:49 pm) Can't really comment on the prices, though I'm jealous: dealers were NOT going under invoice a year ago. -c92 |

Replying to: xflynnx (Jul 26, 2007 1:49 pm) The 400 mile model is probably the better deal(as long as you don't mind less MR/bose) if the dealer picks up TTL. |

Is Mazda currently offering cash back and low APR? I'm seeing low APR here at Edmunds with no cash back but everyone seems to be getting tremendous discounts from MSRP. Is anyone getting this and low APR financing? Thanks.

Yes, it is either/or. The discounts seems to have increased another $750. Now it is $6250 OFF MSRP Check this new dealer ad: |
