Replying to: anchovy (Apr 26, 2007 10:17 pm) Can you tell me more about the MF? or point me in the right direction for research. I am trying to understand how a MF of .00245 equates to a 5.9%. Thanks in advance

Hi all. I'm considering a lease in the Seattle area. What do you think about these lease terms? 2008 Blue package 3, 12k mi/yr, 36mo lease. sale price 23900 dealer installed leather 1400 RV 14342 MF 0.00285. I'm also considering getting satellite radio. Should I have negotiated this from the start? or can I still negotiate down the price after I have the above deal? Also does Toyota always make you pay for gap insurance? Thanks. |

Got this over the phone: base model, white or red, pkg #2, plus floor mats at... $22,974 invoice plus $700 profit = $23674 plus tax, title. 36 mth lease $408.00 salesman said he was using .55 residual and ,00266 money factor. the monthly lease seems quite high. you thoughts/guidance, please.

Replying to: ltcipro (Nov 25, 2007 1:06 pm) Also, be careful with Toyota in the SE region. At least here in South Florida, almost all cars on the lot have the over-priced "Toyo Guard Protection" for $700 to $800- which is nothing more that VIN etching, Scotchguard, car wax, and rust-proofing (which is irrelevant for the short period of your lease). This "Protection" costs the dealership less than $80 and is a source of PURE profit for them. You should negotiate with them as if this "Toyo Guard" doesn't exist when you run your numbers. |

Replying to: Car_man (Aug 07, 2007 2:12 am) "I personally would be very hesitant to purchase this car with the intention of holding on to it for a really long time" Can you clarify this point? Are you saying that a Prius may have expensive repairs in the future? thks

Hello, I am looking to lease a Prius with package #6. I am in Bay Area. I am looking for basic information such as residual value, money factory, and PRICE. Any information or recomendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. |
