Ebony Black with black leather, everything but navigation including carpeted floor and trunk mats, wheel locks, trunk organizer (the $200 aftermarket one, not the $90 stock / PIO one), Bluetooth installed when available. $31,590 (sticker + Bluetooth add-on), roughly $600 taxes & tags, etc. = $32,200 give or take a nickel (South Carolina has max tax = $300 for vehicle sales no matter what the price)... 3 miles on odometer before test-drive, 10.1 at delivery. Prepped, programmed and out the door for $27,800. Overall excellent dealer experience, purchased through Internet sales manager at Jim Hudson Hyundai, Columbia, SC. I'm a happy camper...

Replying to: ratledge (Jan 12, 2008 12:51 pm) BTW, which Bluetooth option did you get? Is it an aftermarket solution or is it a Hyundai option? I'm also looking to add Bluetooth intergrated with my 07's stereo system. If it is an aftermarket system, could you give us a little more details? Also, how do you like it? Congratulations man, 28k OTD including all the TT&L seems like the BEST deal anyone has had on these forums, bar none!!!

Replying to: wobbly_ears (Jan 12, 2008 2:44 pm) They are hard to find, but seem to be showing up in the southeast at least in limited numbers at this point. Every dealer I have checked has at least two, maybe that was how many they got for their initial allocation? I have seen one out of about 20+ 2008's I have looked at over the past week (count 'em - one) with navigation which is shown as "late availability" - as is the Bluetooth module, but apparently is available in severely limited quantities. That was a black one (I think - my mind is a bit muddy after a week of looking everywhere in South Carolina, Savannah GA and Charlotte NC) at Myrtle Beach Hyundai/Isuzu. |

Replying to: dfwfrank (Jan 12, 2008 11:30 am) Also, if you look at page number 22 of the user manual, it states that "After the positions are memorised by the system, when the ignition key is turned to the 'ON' position, the memorized position is adjusted automatically" (emphasis mine) I read this to interpret that each key would be recognized & memory positions set. Could anyone confirm plz? |

Replying to: wobbly_ears (Jan 12, 2008 4:17 pm) You are interpreting the manual wrong ... you got to push the button. If you notice their is no markings on the key showing whose key your using. How would you know who's key you have ???

Replying to: hjc1 (Jan 12, 2008 4:36 pm) I think it would have been cool if the car would recognize either the Key fob or the Key itself. I mean, I'm assuming that each key has a microchip inside. I set my key in, set my preference to position 1. The wife then puts her key in & sets her preferences to position 2. Then, whenever either I or she put our keys in, system recognizes whose key it is & sets position accordingly. Would have been wonderful, don't ya think? Another thing with the manual. My manual, on page 23 talsk about 'Reverse Parking Aid'. The sideview mirrors are supposed to tilt down when reversing. Mine doesn't do that (I have the 07 Limited with Ultimate package). Does anyone's do that?
