Isn't it a good feeling to know you got a great car, good price, you like the way you were treated, and the dealer did what you expected and requested? I'll bet the smile is still on your face. Good luck with your ride.

Our old 94 Sedan deVille my daughter's been driving is on it's last legs. Started over the weekend thinking about getting me a new car and giving her my old Lumina with the sport package that she's been coveting for a few years. Anyways, discovered the Azera on here and Consumer Reports and am seriously considering getting it instead of a Camry or 2nd Avalon. Since that time, I have been checking here and on the net to get a feel for prices and saw the $1000 cash incentive that expired on 7/31. So far this morning, I haven't seen a replacement incentive. Does anyone know when new incentives are announced? Don't have a handle on how Hyundai does things, but is a $2000 incentive or very low APR reasonably likely? Also, on a slightly off topic matter, I'm a little concerned about the lack of dealers here in New Orleans. There is only one, a branch of a large local dealership with a lot of lines. It's a poor relation; the Hyundai facilities are not too impressive. They don't even have a Limited in stock. I've been spending about half my time in Houston since Katrina, so it's no problem buying there from one of the 5 dealers within 20 miles, but I'm worried about emergency warranty work that might need to be done here. A friend got screwed when he bought a new Isuzu and the local dealer closed. He had to drive all the way to Baton Rouge for warranty work, about 90 miles. How is Hyundai doing? Is there any kind of warranty commitment or law that would required them to keep a dealership here? Thanks. |
