Replying to: luckylou (Nov 25, 2006 11:31 am) Hi, Lou: I saw an eggplant Azera; it was quite nice. I'm surprised that this car is so hard to find in FL. As previously posted, there's plenty of 'em here in the Denver metro area. It's too bad that your Thanksgiving dinner was not so good Lou, I'm hoping to hear from you soon that you're happily motoring around in your Azera! I am thus far very pleased w/ mine. Its first road trip is to Santa Fe, NM in mid-January ... about 800 miles, round trip from the Denver metro area. Cheers, Susan |

Hi Susan , the dealer says this color is hard to get . Right now I am in no rush , if we are spending money for vehicle it better be the way we wanted colors , bells and whistle. BTW my E-mail address is posted feel free to communicate. I love my Lexus but I need to down size , by no means I said step-down , this Azera's are awesome. Your parents will tell you what a great weather we are having in Florida. See yeah Lou

Replying to: luckylou (Nov 26, 2006 8:40 am) I'm in the same boat as you - waiting. However, I'm beginning to see a trickle of '07s coming into FL, according to various dealer websites. I'm providing those I've checked in central FL (near Orlando) who show a limited inventory of '07 Azeras. If they don't loosen up soon, I'm inclined to buy my backup selection, a Maxima. http://www.jenkinshyundaiofleesburg.com/ http://www.universal-hyundai.com/new_inventory.htm?start=0&SByear=2007&SBbodysty- le=Sedan&SBmake=Hyundai&SBmodel=Azera

Hi sloflyer You are absolutely right, I have not look into the Maxima . I need a large vehicle that the rear seat folds down . The Azera meets all my needs. No dealer wants to mention when the 2007 Azera will be here, even my good friend was using the tactics of the usual lying , Their lot is full of 2006 Azera and they want to get rid of these first. I am also looking for the new 2007 Toyota Tundra and 2007 GMC 1500 both suppose to be hitting the showrooms early 07 . Hyundai will have stiffer competition Why is this irrational hold up ?? What happened with the new models coming into the showrooms in October ??? Lou

Replying to: luckylou (Nov 26, 2006 1:49 pm) I'm sure you thought that out too but thought I'd bring it up just in case. The MAX is a great car and Toyota has the truck world on edge with its scheduled February 2007 debut of the new Tundra. The GMC and Chevy pickups have also gotten good reviews. My neighbor just bought a 2007 Chevy 1500...nice truck but I don't want anything that sucks gas at this point in time with the miles I'm driving. Didn't you say you were getting rid of the Lexus LX470 for that reason too? I still believe that the week after Christmas before January 1, dealerships will be making strong and agressive deals on everything they have on their lots so they don't carry over into 2007 fiscal year inventory status. All comes down to how patient you can be and how deep your pockets are... |

RE 319 and 320 The Lexus LX470 is not as versitale as a pick-up truck would be , the back of my SUV is as clean as the day I bought it . It is not practical for messy and big stuff. My first option is comfort the new vehicle must be just as comfortable as my Lexus , the Azera fits the bill , the fold down rear seats will help in moving some things. Once again price wise the Azera is in the front of the list. I would prefer the 2007 over 2006. I don't think dealers of Hyundai would stop not give discount on the 2007 if it meant a sale ??? Greed is what keeps them in motion. Lou |
