Yesterday I spent a couple hours at Cocoa Hyundai of Florida , trying to get a good deal , from old friend that works as a salesman. Right of the bat I got tick off when he said , write what you want to pay , he gave a tiny tiny tiny bit of paper and don't show me the number. Has anybody gone thru this . I felt uncomfortable . Plus the usual back and forth to the sales manager. Floridabob did your dealership treat you well ?? What is the name, please ?? Does the State of Florida have any good dealership and good service department ?? Thank you Lou

Replying to: luckylou (Nov 20, 2006 9:56 pm) I purchased my Azera at King Hyundai in Delray. I would not recommend them at all. The only reason I bought there was that they were the only dealer at the time that had Sage Green/ Beige Ultimate in the state. PS. I paid MSRP. I have had the car serviced at Napleton Hyundai in West Palm Beach. The sales Manager is Jeff. Very nice guy. The service and parts departments are cooperative and try their hardest, but unfortunately they are not assisted very well by corporate and must do a lot of trial and error work to solve problems. Apparently, no dealers have been provided with 2007 Azera updates for their computer catalogues. |

Many posts have talked about buying an Azera under dealer invoice. If they want to play these give me a number games and then grind you back and forth, hold your ground or tell them you are leaving. If they think you are really a buyer, they'll work to keep you there. Good luck |

Is a shame that now that the dealers have a good product to sell , they are still acting like jackasses. Thanks for your advice. Lou

I had a very positive encounter with the dealer that I bought my 07 Sonata from and also the Kia dealer I dealt with to buy an Optima 2006.5 for my Mother. It is the majority that give them all a bad name. |

Surprise surprise , about a couple of hours ago my friend from Cocoa Hyundai called. They offered 2k more for my Lexus which is what I wanted from the beginning. I will be getting a new 2006 Limited with Ultimate Pkg. , Dark Blue with Black interior. Free change of Oil for Life . I get back a check for $25000.00 and a new Azera , for my 2006 LX470. My insurance is going to drop considerably , and a bit on the tag , no premium gas , plus very expensive trips to the service department. I have to say that I am happy. This past Saturday I test drove an 06 Azera the base model , took it for a along drive , I was very impress . Thanks again , soon we all have something in common to talk about. Lou

Yes the LX470 is an excellent SUV , but my needs have changes . I always wanted a Lexus SUV , just at this time in my life I would like to simplified and at the same time doing it with style , the Azera fits my frame of mind and my wallet at this time. If anybody knows for sure when the 07 are arriving in Florida please let me know. I have not signed any papers yet but they want me drop my LX tomorrow ( Wednesday) while they find a new 2006 Azera Limited with Ultimate Pkg. , in the mean time I will get a free loaner. The salesman mention this drop off , I think they are afraid I might get a better deal somewhere else , I am keeping the title till the final transaction. This method is new to me , any idea why they are doing this ?? All help welcome Lou |
