I takes some work.

A new tuner module and splitter is required behind the dask and under the drivers seat, connected into existing radio.

An antenna is required. The lead runs up the right front trim panel by the windshield. A little 'wart' antenna is glued to the inside of the windshield in the upper right corner.

Hope this helps someone.

On 12/13/10 we bought a new (left-over) 2010 RTL w/o NAV. Price before all taxes & "handling" fees was $31210.

We thought we did pretty well since there is no difference whatsoever from 2010 to 2011. Only way to tell the difference is the part of the VIN that covers the model year.

We are hedging our bets, as it sure seems Honda is NOT very committed to the Ridgeline. I would not be surprised at all if 2011 is the last year of production. They have already cancelled/discontinued the Element, and getting rid of another gas hog will surely help their CAFE numbers.

#832 of 839 S.Florida 4WD RTL Navi w/Leather best OTD by tyokaluja

Apr 21, 2011 (3:29 pm)

am being quoted 37500 by one dealer (price is OTD with dest,tag,tax,license...everything) and another at 36500

based on truecar the price for 4WD Crew Cab RTL w/Navi is 33700 so the best OTD should be just about 35000 in s.florida

will wait until end of month as I am certain someone has picked up this for below 35k OTD

Just bough a 2011 Ridgeline RT. Options were window tint, trailer hitch, cargo tray.
Out the door price was $27,500 thats at 6.25% sales tax.
Looks like the price before ttl was around $2000 below invoice.
Good deal ?

tyokaluja,

The 2011 quote, does that included the $810 destination fee? As for the 2012, what is the actual sales price of the Ridgeline (including dest)? I'm trying to compare the price between the 2011 vs 2012. It is hard to compare OTD price if I live in NJ. NJ sales tax, tag, title & doc fee are different from Florida.

I know someone bought a 2012 Ridgeline RTL w/Nav for $32,500.

Yea, you need to post the numbers separate if you want people outside Florida to respond.

Then people that recently purchased can give you a corrosponding 'vehicle' price. This price should also include the transportation charge, it's actually part of the basic vehicle cost and is the same across the entire USA, the dealer does have to pay this, and doesn't enter into price 'haggling'.

You are going to have to pay tax, tag, doc, etc, but these are separate from the vehicle price, which is the price that can be haggled.

Edmunds.com here has a section that will give the MSRP and 'Invoice' amount for any autos. At this time, they may still have both 2011 and 2012 sections up.

If not, if you can look at the sticker for both a 2011 and 2012, pull a few numbers. Pull the 'base' vehicle price. Then if there are Factory accessories, pull one of these. There is almost always only two percentages of MSRP markups (or reductions from MSRP for the 'invoice' price). Look at Edmunds prices for the 2012 and calculate these percentages. One for the 'base' price and then a different percentage for ANY factory accessory.

Looking at the base prices for 2011 and 2012, you can see if Honda has increased the prices between the years. The 'percentages' usually do not change from year to year on a vehicle that doesn't have significant body/motor/etc changes.

And with Honda making almost no significant changes to this vehicle, I would guess the percentages are the same between 2011 and 2012.

To get the MSRP and 'invoice' price for a 2011, if Edmunds has dropped these from their displays, use the percentages to calculate the 'invoice' price based on the sticker MSRP numbers. It's not that tough.

Now we all know the 'invoice' price doesn't represent what you may be able to buy a vehicle. On my 2006 Ridgeline I bought it thousands below 'invoice'. I think Honda has given dealer price supports of some type on a Ridgeline for most of its production life.
