I've been searching all over Chicago and the best OTD price I've found is:

$24,123 Sale Price
+$151.65 Doc Fee
+$2,245.41 Sales Tax
+$144 New Plates
=$26,664.06 OTD

Good deal?

If it is in perfect condition then the price is about what they seem to be listed at. You should keep in mind that you could buy a brand new nicely equipped minivan for that price or a few grand more. It won't be a honda so if that is what you have to have then buy it and good luck. You can confirm this by looking at other minivan discussions or looking at various pricing sites.

Sounds like a lot of $$$ to me for a vehicle with 55K on it.

I am still fishing...Dealer backed out that there are only two 09 Tourings available and no dealer is willing to trade. The other 2 dealers which had 09 tourings - one had demonstrator vehicle and other was not willing to give at costco price, since they are registered with costco auto buying program.

I live in OC area and signed up with Costco auto buying program. Dealers registered with costco are only offering inv+$650 as price + tax + License. For a 2010 touring its almost $42K out the door. Do you think other dealers can beat this price? Spreen or Weir Canyon or any one? I am interested in 09 or 10 touring.

Thanks

Plus the van is 3 -4 years old. Having said that, like vans are listed on search engines for the mid-twenties. Doesn't seem like a good value to me.

I am looking for 2010 EX-L w/o R & N. Quoted 30071 + Tax + Title/doc/plate. Is this a good price? When are we going to see any incentive from Honda:) Thanks

Seems like a very competive price re posts on this discussion. If you really like the van, i wouldn't wait. Even if there are rebates -- the dealers will minimize discounts to offset some of the savings. The fire sale last spring was because inventories were way too high. Don't look for that to happen. Of course the quote is just talk until you have a signed sell order. Good luck.

I disagree 100% with Jayrider regarding the likelihood of incentives and potential savings. Honda has had to give 2500 incentives the last couple of years to sell product. The only reason you don't see great deals right now is because Cash For Clunkers allowed Honda and Toyota to sell a lot of minivans so they have limited 09 to sell. It will take a little while for pressure to mount on Honda to offer incentives due to rising stock of the 2010, but i can't believe that it won't happen soon. The current prices are 2500 to to 4000 more than what were being quoted over the last 18 months. If you need a car now, the quote sounds fine, but if you can wait up to 6 months, I would do so.
