Just got a quote from my local dealer on NEW Honda Fit Sport w Navigation for $18 610 + tax and DMV fee. They said NO hidden fees. I'm going Wed night to see it and buy it eventually. Is this a good price???? In my books it is.... I live in NYC.
I was just negotiating for pre-owned one 2009 with 12k miles, with Navigation, for $17 600. For thousand more, better get new one, no!?
Either I'm bad shopper, but I wasn't able to find anything like that which runs below 17k. And I'm specific that I want one with navigation.
Any thoughts/advises!? Greatly appreciated, thanks!

Price it in Central New Jersey and buy from there. You'll save a decent chunk of money, even if you have to pay the slightly higher NY tax.

Moodguard, what kind of quotes are you getting for a Fit w/ automatic, but without navigation? I'm looking to buy one this weekend, and have been quoted 15,550 by overstock. Good? Is there room to negotiate with overstock typically?

I don't know anything about overstock. Is the $15,550 inclusive of taxes, title, tags etc? What state are you in? Please give as much details about the car as possible, perhaps I or someone here can offer guidance.

Hi. I live in central NJ. I just purchased a new 2010 Honda Fit Sport. My total out the door price including tax, dealer prep etc is $18,000. I am getting $800 on my old car and transferring my old plates. My car is 13yrs old w/bad engine about to blow. Dealer is throwing in wheel locks. There were only three of this car on the lot. I haven't purchased a new car in years and being a woman I hope I got a new deal. It took time to get them down to this price. I got internet quotes from other dealers and they were all higher. I hope I got a good deal. Can anyone advise ASAP.

I want to buy a 2010 Honda fit sport in Tallahassee, FL with Automatic transmission and navigation system. What would be the reasonable price for this car before taxes and other standard expenses? Can somebody help me with this please?

2010 fit base with auto:
 
$15435 + TTT = $16476.05 OTD. This is eastern NC - I think this is not too bad?
NC sales tax for vehicles = 3%
 
Anyone getting anything similar or lower than this?

Got an i'net quote for 18171 ($40 over invoice) incl dest and before "accessories and fees". Is that a good price in Virginia (West Broad Honda)? Should I pull trigger? Thanks, Ted. PS -- not yet sure if I can also get 0.9% 60 mo financing.
