It will be nice knowing you got the car that you wanted. Especially so since it is a car that will probably run at least another 10-15 years, and you may own it that long and hopefully problem free as it is with Hondas. Good luck and keep us posted! |

Also, they are so many hidden fee, like Doc fee, License fee, and the dealers will never tell you the truth until the end. Who live in bay area and get a fair price (or a better dealer) on Honda Fit? Please help us! Thanks! |

The big factor in ordering a Fit and getting the Fit you want is, settling for a color, Manual Transmission in a base model, or a base model with an automatic. I think 90 percent of the Fits are AT sports. From my phone calls to 19 dealers with the 19 call finding my Fit it seemed there were no manual transmissions of the cars they had in stock. Most of the sales people said MT was extremely difficult to get. I have learned that the dealer that sells the most cars gets the largest allocation and if dealers get the allocation within a period of time they can’t even order one. That is what happened to me in my first order where the sales guy told me he ordered it but I found out he never did since after 6 weeks I didn’t get a VIN number for the car. Japan gives the VIN number to the dealer of the cars that will be delivered. The car takes 6 to 8 weeks from the build date. I hope this helps people get a better understanding of this vehicle that everyone seems to want.
