The base may have 4 1/2 at the center of the car, but the 5" on the Sport right at the nose can affect driving through the snow more. So even though the lowest point of the Base is lower, it may drive through the snow better without the front snowplow.

Hey folks, some of you may recognize me from the Subaru threads, or more recently the Sienna ones.   Any how, mom's on a fixed income so my brother and I just chipped in to help her get a brand new Fit.   She's actually in Recife, Brazil. They build Fits there, in Brazil that is.   So far all I know is she got the automatic. My brother promised to take pics this weekend. I'll probably call her tonight to make sure she's happy with it.   Any how, I figured I'd subscribe to follow what goes on in the Fit World now that I've paid for one.

I have the conventional bike rack that fits well on the trunk of most cars....I couldn't get it to fit properly on the fit's rear end this AM...any tips...am I clueless or it jst does not wrok? Thanks in advance..

Navi is an accessory option. Ask your local dealers for details. It's a dock that attaches on the dashboard with a wireharness to integrate it into the radio. USAspec still has an ipod adaptor. The musiclink one is out of production. Honda screwed up on that one.

So the new Fit will be introduced in Japan this Fall. Any idea when the new Fit will make it to the U.S.? Originally, I figured it would be Fall 2008 as a 2009 model. Now I'm wondering if it will be sooner, say Winter/Spring as a 2009 model. If it is indeed earlier, then I will wait for the next Fit. If it is 1 year, I may well pull the trigger on a 2008 model (even though I wanted white).   Any thoughts?
