Sedans Honda Civic Honda Civic Si Sedan

There are three Civic Si Sedans on my local Honda dealer's lot (SerraHonda.com for details). A beige, black, and a white one. The dealer is a low-volume, community type dealer, not a mega-store on the interstate. I was just surprised to see that many sitting there. |

Replying to: qnzprodigy (Oct 25, 2006 5:35 am) I personally stay away from anything with a turbo for a daily drive. Costs more for insurance, maintance, repair, fuel, initial cost of the car... And worst of all, working on turbo charged front drive cars... what a horrible experience. This would knock the SI of the last of practical, yet sporty, car I'd like to buy.

I've searched and don't have a clear idea of what the SI sedan gets for mpg or what RPMs the SI is turning on the highway at 70 or 75 mph. I am ready to buy one, but would really appreciate any info in this area. (Test drives are a bit impractical where I am, as odd as that may seem.)

| 32 mpg highway, per EPA. Best I've heard is around 28mpg, real-world. It turns, IIRC, around 3000 rpm. | |
