Planning to buy a the ex-l v6 without nav, and best offer so far is $27,200 before TTL. Dealer will additonally give wheel lock and mud guards. I've financing ready for as low as 1.49% ...Would this be a good deal?

Not many 2012's left.. Check all dealers websites to view there inventory. You should consider a 2013 much better car for the money.

If your term is up, you get nothing. Otherwise it is prorated. This is insurance and it works like any other insurance product - you buy it for security and peace of mind. It is not for everyone.

Hello Everyone,
I bought a 2013 Honda Accord Sport over the New Years weekend at Autosport Honda in NJ.
I told them that I wanted to pay 23k OTD price, they agreed. They did a reverse calculation which looked something like this:
23,000 out the door price - Honda Accord Sport
7% 1,464.52 Tax
299.00 Doc Fees
307.30 DMV
7.50 NJ tire fee
790.00 Destination
20,131.68 Car price
I had my own financing ready from Bank of America at 2.2% which Honda matched afterwards.
Hope this helps anyone buying in NJ. Also, thanks for all the great tips from some of you over the last month.

If you read any auto magazines or Consumer Reports you will find that nitrogen in the tires has no effect. It works only as a marketing gimmick.

Why do so many people include the sales tax in their OTD quote? Sales tax is non-negotiable and varies by state, so it makes it harder to compare quotes. If you say that the OTD quote includes a sales tax of 6.5% it requires that the OTD number be divided by 1.065 to get a meaningful price for all states. Other costs, like options, registration, and documentation should be included because that's how dealers adjust their profit. Leave sales tax out!

Let folks post all the info they like. Every few years someone comes in here and wants this changed or that changed...bottom line is most folks want ALL the info including the sales tax. So just take out the info from each post that you want...the way things are right now are just fine!

P.S. Was at the Honda store this morning and Honda did a great job with the new Accord. A very impressive car for the money and very upscale especially the interior!
