They wanted me to pay $1,500 for a 6/72,000 and I got them to give me a 6/100,000 for $1,285. I looked online yesterday and saw that I could have gotten it for $780.00. I now have to go back to the dealer and have them sign a cancellation request. I talked to the finance guy and he is not to happy about it, but he did fax it to me and I have to go back to the dealer to have him sign it. Don't make the same mistake as me. Good luvk, Dennis

Replying to: jdpc27 (Aug 09, 2009 4:25 pm) Hope you are now a happy owner of your new Altima. Can you share the state and dealer name - send it to sush9295 I am looking at the exact same car in NJ and am also thinking of going for the U01 Tech Package and possibly the spoiler as well ($1735 + $295). It seems that you got a discount of$1285 after the edmunds TMV and the Nissan discount of $1500. I am thinking of pushing for $24000 for the same config as yours + Tech Package and Spoiler... Did you check sites such as truecar.com. Thanks again, RJ

Hi, I am interested in buying the 2009 Nissan Altima 2.5S Coupe (Automatic) in the Houston, TX area! The details are below: MSRP $25,380 Invoice $23,643 Offer $21,743 ($400 below invoice plus $1500 dollar rebate!) Do you think I can do better? Also I am leaning towards not taking the rebate! Its $1500 vs. 1.9% APR. I was told if I don't take the special APR rate, the market rate is around 6-7%. Good deal? Decent deal? Bad deal? Any help appreciated! Thanks!

The owners manual makes reference to "Key Number Plate" (for replacement keys). I did not get one. There is one reference on this forum that somewhat implies these may have been discontinued. Are these Key Number Plates still being provided? If so how did you receive them? Handed from dealer? Or are they stored in some place that I may not have looked? I would like to know from other owners prior to asking dealer. Thanks for your help. |
