Congratulations on the new car. They are great cars. I looked at a BMW 335 the other day and it was going to cost more than a GS350 (including discounts). BMW prices are going thru the roof!!!

What was the MSRP? I am looking hard at a 2008 GS350 AWD with MSRP of around 51,300.

I bought a new GS350 RWD the end of May. Sticker was $52,076. Paid $45,000 plus TTL. Had the local dealer match the Orlando dealer's "out of town" price. There are considerable discounts to be had !!!

I've been look at GS350 AWD and BMW 528xi. Their prices are very similar.
Looks like GS350 has pretty much everyting, the only option I need is the navigation system. Can anyone tell me what other options are needed for GS350? How much off MRSP can I get the car now?

Mine has the following options:

18" Summer Tires ($870)
Wood & Leather Steering Wheel ($330)
ML / Nav ($3630)
Rear Spoiler ($200)
Rain Sensing Wipers ($525)
Rear Sunshade ($210)
Ventilated Seats ($200)
Intuitive Parking Assist ($500)
Preferred Acc Package ($210)
XM Radio ($486)

Most of the cars in my area had everything but the XM on them.

It's hard for me to decide which one to buy. 528xi is not as reliable as GS350 in the long run. I heard some compaints about GS350 about the noise on brake or something like that.
Please help me.

I have basically the same options on my GS as Tom17 does but my XM radio was dealer installed, not factory. Never heard a squeak at all. Breaks are really sensitive. I Read about issue with noise from fuel injector but I have no problems. The only thing I know about that is a concern is the fact the the 18" summer tires have a very short life span. So much so that Lexus has the fact that these tires wear out very fast as a disclaimer on their website. I think they predict under 15K Other than that, I prefer the Lexus over the BMW. I also bought an Infiniti SUV over a BMW and the Lexus so it's really a matter of personal preference.
FYI... did read that the RWD in the Lexus GS350 is more reliable than the AWD version and I did buy my GS with RWD .

I had been considering the BMW 535i and the Infiniti G35/M35. Did not get the Infiniti due to high RPM on the highway (over 3000) and resultant low MPG. The 535i is just overpriced. Sticker for comparable equipped was over $60K. Minimal discount at BMW dealer, $7K discount at Lexus means I saved about $15K with the GS350.

Thanks!
I went to a dealer today. He showed me this starfire white pearl color GS350 AWD, I like that red one also but they don't have it. The list price is $51,000, he showed me the invoice price $45,300. Do you think I can get the car at about $43k (about) $8,000 off MRSP)? It's end of the year, the new 2009 is coming soon.

My car is Starfire Pearl also !!!
I doubt you can get $8,000 off.
My price was slightly below Invoice and holdback, but the dealer had a $695 paperwork fee that I paid. Basically that was their profit. I think it all depends on what your dealer charges for the paperwork fee. Have them show you not just the invoice but the holdback also.
Were they willing to sell for invoice?
The end of the month helps also. Wait till the last day of the month for the best price.
