Not too shabby. $509 x 35 or 36 months is still about $18k for 3 years of driving the car you like
15k/yr. But what do you need to pay at the end of the lease? Dents, scratches, ... how much end-of-lease fees if you just return the keys? Got to ask. Rented a car from a not publicly owned "E........." rental company before and the car flipped over because I guessed was lack of maintenance (heard other customerSS complaining at their office and didn't know to run!!). And those people said they're gonna sue me for that!! Got me scared for many years. Bad people! Bad business! But they thrived through the decades!

Hey Carman, been reading on these forums for the last 2 months and found your knowledge and advice to be great--was hoping you could help me out as I'm in the market for a new lease:
1. What should the monthly payment be around for a 2013 335xi---36 month lease/ 15,000 miles per year? The MSRP is $57,000 with the options that I want and it would be no money down---
2. Also I could close in October or wait a month. Do you think November would be a better time to lease?
I just wanted a baseline to compare prices and if you could give me the money factor for October and residual for the 335 xi/ 36 months and the 328 xi 36 months---both would be 15,000 miles per year....thanks for your help

October 2012....I am looking at ordering a 2013 335i convertible. MSRP 56,785. What would a fair price be for a 36 month lease, with 12K miles and -0- cap (I will pay first month and inceptions at closing). I am in NJ, and am coming off a BMW 1 series lease, if that matters and I have excellent credit. Looking at BMW site, with current offer of $529 (10K miles) with $3,500 down on an auto with an MSRP of $55,695, I am anticipating a price of $675. Is that reasonable? Is there a way that you could see the payment being lower?

Since you have a BMW lease, it wont be hard to lease another BNW, and if your payment history with BMWFS is perfect, then sliding into a 335ix wont be hard at all. Once again no one can tell you what is a good deal or not, that is up to you. If you are OK with mid 500/m car payments and want mim out of pocket, which is a very doable thing...

Trying to decide between dealership and Carmax.
Dealership:
2009 328xi 32,000 for 27,400 pre taxes and such.
Carmax:
2009 328xi 22,000 for 25,998 pre taxes and such.
Any thoughts about better place to buy?
Also, warranty question.
BMW is asking $5000 for 100,000 miles vs. Carmax is asking $1,800 for 100,000 miles. Any ideas about the difference between the warranties and which you would go for?
Appreciate any advice!

What packages do the cars have?
Is the BMW dealer price including Certified Pre-Ownered warranty ?
Just to let you know my niece was able to get a 2009 BMW 328i with 34K miles on it for $24K and this was a CPO, her's was fully loaded, Sports package, Premium package, convenience package, xenon headlights, conform access, bllack with oyster interior... I'm not too sure the AWD is worth the extra 3K...

Hey Dashfb1,
There are great incentives on the 335i convertible especially when your coming out of a BMW. I just helped a friend get a similar one as the one you're looking for. You can get this car for about $1,500 behind invoice minus the $750 loyalty and $300 first month payment waiver. (There is also an addition $1,000 if you took part in the BMW USA Drive Event over the summer for the new 3 series, my friend didn't do this so the price below doesn't include the $1,000 from the drive event). Here is the deal you should be looking for… Good Luck!

I'm not able to reproduce the wonderful payments that people have reported here. Am I doing something wrong in my calculation? For instance, in sicce1's deal, the selling price is $40,970, tax is 7%, residual is 59%, MF is 0.00115 and $0 down. Monthly payment of $509 (3 years)
I calculate:
Residual is 40,970 x 59% = 24172
Depreciation is (40,970 - 24,172)/36 = 466.61
Finance is (40970 + 24172) x 0.00115 = 74.91
Total without tax $541.52
Total with tax $579.42

I'm betting there was a trade or some sort of rebate included in the deal,
