Hello, is there any good dealership to recommend around bay area, CA? what's the buying price i get a quote for package#5 for $23676, TTL not included.... no good deal on pacakge#2 rite now... which i'm interested..

Replying to: bodomo (May 06, 2009 10:04 am) I am in the same boat as you. I feel it is still better to wait for the 2010s compared to the 0% for 50 month deal. Once the 2010s start rolling in, the resale value of the 2009 are going to take a deep dive. 2010s get better mileage and have rigid gas tank. So you can probably put a little acetone in the tank everytime you fill up and get 10-20% more mileage! . But I think maybe in another 2-3 yrs, Prius retrofits or conversions for adding lithiom ion batteries will be much cheaper than they currently are.

Does the quote already have manufacturer rebate counted? Can you let me know the dealership name? Thanks very much |

Replying to: hottmusic (May 06, 2009 5:25 am) You signed the papers accepting the deal as it was and the original deal was not a scam or an error by either party. You would lose the sales tax you paid the first time and still have to pay sales tax and doc fees again on the resale. The car would be used and not qualify for the new car interest rate. |

If gas prices go back to the previous highs or go even higher, the resale will skyrocket regardless of the new model. People were paying top dollar for old Geo Metros last year that people couldn't give away the year before. |
