#494 of 520 F150 Update by cwa318

Here is the latest information I have reveived from dealers in the Tampa, Orlando, Sarasota area. It seems that there is only a $500 difference in rebates between 2011's and 2012's. There are better financing options with the 2011's such as 0% for 60 months or 1.9 for 72 months in lieu of a $2K rebate. Most of the repsonses I got back from dealers is they are willing to sell 2011's and 2012's for invoice price. The delima is why buy a 2011? What I am surprised at is Ford has made the 2012's more appealing to the buyer than the 2011 and there are a ton of these left in inventory. That is why I figured there would be some maufacture to dealer cash that would make the 11's more appealing. I figured a person could buy a 2011 for less than invoice price before any rebates. So far I have not been able to get such a deal especially since dealers do have 3% in holdback but many of these units have been sitting on lots for a lomg time and that holdback money has been eaten up. I will update more later.

Great info, keep me posted. I was hoping you would have said the 0% financing was combinable with the 2011 rebates, thus making it a few thousdand different between the 11 and 12 models. I forgot - what type of F150 are you looking at?

The finance piece of this equals to 0% for 60 and 1.9 for 72 plus $2K in rebates. I have been looking at crew cab 4wd with Ecoboost Lariat or FX4. The MSRP is between $46 and $50.

Starting the process of buying a new FX4 screw. One with the Ecoboost eng, luxury pkg, and 20 " wheels has a MSRP right at 46 k. How much off MSRP can one expect at this time of the year ?

I just bought a 2012 F-150 4x2 Lariat SuperCrew with the Plus package, EcoBoost, Leather Bucket Seats with Console, Chrome Step Bar, Tailgate Step, Body Color Power Folding Heated Mirrors for $32,900. MSRP was $42,815. I think I got a good deal... They were originally quoting me $34,150 and I got several dealerships here in the Houston area that said they couldn't match or beat the price. Anybody care to offer their comments? Agree? Disagree?

Taimgxe,

What rebates and other factory incentives were included in your price?

Thanks for your response.

Rebate of $2,000 plus $1,000 thru Ford Motor Credit plus $750.00 for trade in. The price of $32,900 is before the trade in value was applied.

That would be a great deal in Memphis.
Maybe I should go to Houston.
What dealer was it ?
