Any leads on which dealerships to contact? I agree we should be more in the $12,000 range for a discount! Again, I am in Omaha, but I will travel...thanks!

I just purchased a 2011 F150 FX4 Super Crew Long Bed loaded up. MSRP of $47,040.00. Purchase price of $37,040.00 after all incentives and rebates from Ford. Researched and put in offers with 6 different dealers until I found the lowest price. Had to drive about 50 miles but it was worth it for sure. Looked at Toyota Tundra but after seeing them on the road wasn't crazy about the styling. Love my F150 so far

Price paid $21,500 plus TTL. Southwestern U.S. Very unpleasant experience with high pressure dealer, even though the price was probably not rock bottom.

Next time: Go ahead and let the high pressure guy buy the inventory and pay the salesman. Then go to low-key place to make the deal; they all share the same inventory, after all.

I'm looking at a 2011 f150 fx4 also, just wondering what were all the incentives you got so I can ask the dealers. Thanks

#489 of 520 2011 Lariat Crew by cwa31871

Looking at some left over 2011 Crew Cab Lariats. There are several of these around in the Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando area. From what I am hearing from dealers is $3k in rebates. I would think one could get 10k to 12k off of sticker on these especially in light of recent fuel costs. The sticker price of these trucks range from $45k to $49k. Does anyone have information on dealer cash or other incentives Ford may be pumping in to make these trucks go away?

I live in the Tampa area and drive a 2007 F150 Harley. I subscribe to this forum and I'm surprised at how slow it is and the fact there are not many posts. The Honda forum for the Odyssey is great. Anyways, I have been sniffing around and I think 10-12K off MSRP for a 2011 is probably pretty good. If you check autotrader several of the auto dealers advertise as much as 10K off MSRP depending on the configuration. I think these are "real" prices not ads, especially given the incentives out there and rebates, etc. The best way to find out is to start getting quotes and shopping around. Most of the internet departments are pretty solid and up front, from what I have found, they want to move the vehicles. Some are more aggressive than others so ping 6-7 dealers and see what you get back. Then make sure to post back here so we can all benefit.

#492 of 520 Update on F150 Search by cwa318

Mar 02, 2012 (6:26 am)

I have sent out some feelers at 6 dealers in the Sarasota, Tampa, Orlando area. I have gotten back information from 2 at this point. I have found that there is only $500 separating the Ford incentives from model year 11 and 12. I contacted dealers about both 11's and 12's with similar equipment. The dealer that emailed me back on the 2011's offered a price that equated to $800 over invoice less rebates. Not very good considering I got the same discount on a 12 from the other dealer. So I am not seeing at this point why you would buy an 11 when competing dealers are offering 12's at the same discount. I have to believe that Ford must be offering some dealer cash to move these 2011's but I have yet to get solid information on this. As previously stated one should be able to get 10K to 12K off of MSRP on these trucks considering the direction of fuel costs. More information to come.
