A not so long time ago
I can still remember when
Those lifted trucks made me smile
But I knew that the one I drove
I could step up to and easily load
But now that Chevy changed the style
Loading hay makes me quiver
I need 5 inch heels when I deliver
To unload from the rear step
I couldn't take one more step!
I can remember I don't need to try
This is not the truck that I drove with pride
And something touched me deep inside
The day the old truck died...
Why why did they change the design?
Backed the Chevy to the trailer but the bed was too high
Them good old boys lifted it up to the sky
So I sat down on the ground and I cried
I sat down on the ground and I cried

There are some very good deals going down right now on the Silverado. I just purchased a 2013 Silverado Crew Cab LT, with the “Texas Edition” package, for $26,388. There were a lot of qualifications on this deal:
Disclosure – Discounted price includes a $2,250 Davis Discount with Consumer Cash Rebate $2,500 and $1,000 Trade In Rebate. Must trade in a 1999 or newer vehicle with a $750 USAA rebate must be an USAA Insurance Holder or Member. $1500 Truck Loyalty (must own 99 or newer GM truck/suv, NOT reqd to trade in). $2,000 PDA/PEB/PDU package rebate. Plus ttl with approved credit.
