I think that we all should meet at a spot in the middle of the United States and have a party.
How about Earth City, Missouri? Check it out and you will see why it is a great location?

"Well, your house is probably closest to being centrally located for most of us."
Try telling that to Houdini, Isellhondas, Michael, Gogiboy, Snake, etc.
Besides, I wouldn't get to take a road trip if you came here.
Jmonroe: I agree. Edmunds should give us our 100K post pins. I'll take mine as one large round diamond surrounded by a cluster of rubies. In fact, Edmunds should set us all up at a five star resort for a week. This should include a wide variety of automobiles for all of us to try. At the end of the week, we each take home the car of our choice. What is it that we always say? If you don't ask, you don't get.

"Maybe there is a Chick-Fil-A nearby."
We have a brand new one here in town that opened in December.

For the big get together I would suggest the hometown of our wonderful HOST, KIRSTIE.
Columbia, Mo is right in the middle of the country, plus Kirstie would be there to do all the work, etc. I am sure she could put quite a few of us up and I bet she is a great cook.
I nominate Richard to work out all the details with Kirstie and report back ASAP. What a wonderful surprise this will be for her!

There used to be quite a few boards sprinkled around Edmunds that had the spirit of comradery that this one exhibits, but owing to a big Edmunds philosophy change several years ago, all but this one are gone, so far as I know.
Yes, now the "experts" are devoting their efforts to running off everyone who used to post on the Inside Line blogs; some Long Term Test blog entries would generate over one hundred comments. Since the suits rolled out the "New and Improved" version a blog entry is lucky to get five comments...

And in this case you do ask and you still don't get.....
No worries about me going out and shoveling snow. I had stopped a year or two ago, then had the transplant and am now rehabbing a strained right rotator cuff.
Reading is a good thing.
We also have a new 46" Samsung LED TV that we just picked up but the pitchers and catchers haven't arrived yet.

Be sure to plug it into the "fail safe" outlet.

"...You can eat at Chick-Fil-A on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday...is best...BUT NEVER, NEVER ON A SUNDAY, A SUNDAY, A SUNDAY 'CAUSE THAT'S THEIR DAY OF REST!"
Even Zorba the Greek knows that!

That's what I just got.. I wasn't really expecting it to be any better than my four year old Sony LCD, but it is.

I don't know much about these things, there are people here who obviously do, but, from what I have read, there have been huge gains in LCD TV technology in the last few years. The technology is improving rapidly, so I would suspect a new TV should be much improved over a 4 year old TV.
But, if the Sony is 4 years old, why did you need a newer one?
