They do not chose to try and club the sales person for every last ounce of flesh. By the way, what is the dollar figure now on the old van?

Replying to: lrguy44 (Nov 06, 2009 4:04 pm) That is true but what started this thread was that someone paid full MSRP for a BMW. Then that was defended by a couple of the biz guys. Reasonable is not MSRP in the car world. MSRP in the car world is stupidity on the part of the buyers. Please don't site us the very few "hot" cars that go for MSRP because there are very few of them and the BMW that started this thread is not a hot car. jmonroe

Let's just say that if Edmunds were to host a event for some of the "regulars" here, there would be groups of people I would rather sit with. I would introduce myself to everybody and maybe change my opinion of them based on face to face contact. A lot gets lost throught the interchange we have here. Heck, some of you may think I'm not such a bad guy after all! |

Replying to: driver100 (Nov 06, 2009 10:09 am) If you recall, the next car was to be selected by my wife. She had a 2000 CRV and loved it. She has been wanting another Honda. When I bought the convertible, the agreement was a Honda the next time around. I have finally convinced her that the CRV is a little small for me. She has agreed to the Pilot. Yes, I do favor American auto models. The Explorer has been a great car and, if I had my choice, it would probably be traded for a Flex. This time, I have to yield the floor to my wife. My sister has two Pilots. I have enjoyed riding in both of them. Richard
